MULTIPLE UPDATES: Where We Stand @11:00PM Central Time
Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Virginia stopped counting when Trump sprang into a lead.
Trump wins with either NC or PA. Closer by far than I expected.
Shipwrecked on the legal status:
Re all these states with "extended" dates for receiving ballots -- beyond that provided in statute. The Supreme Court has not yet ruled on whether those votes will be valid. All the Supreme Court has done is declined to issue emergency stay's preventing the lower court rulings from being enforced. The Court will decide in the next 7-10 days if the period beyond what is provided by statute are valid or invalid. Barrett will be the 5th vote. I think they will be invalidated, and all votes not received by the date provided in the statute will not be a deemed to have been validly cast.
UPDATE 1: When I went to bed I thought WI was solid. At 4am I thought it was down to NC. Now it seems to come down to Michigan--although not all is clear. Hard to believe the 11% lead in PA won't stand.
UPDATE 2: I see Biden is being given a lead now in Michigan. I weep for America.
UPDATE 3: There appear to be real indications of fraud in some states. The quotes are from Shipwreckedcrew , but the links and graphics are from TGP. WI
Trump enjoyed a significant lead, but as was true in Georgia, the major urban center, Milwaukee, would not competently perform the same tasks as the rest of the state. At approximately 4:30 AM, Milwaukee County dump in 169,000 absentee and early votes, and Biden miraculously had a lead of about 7000 votes. After a few smaller drops, the lead grew to 11,000 votes.
and MI
But — just like with Milwaukee and Atlanta — the officials in Detroit could not get their act together and report their vote totals. Another one-party Democrat run county waiting around to see what numbers might be needed to get the job done?
experienced early morning vote dumps--all for Biden. The governor of PA is just now saying there are 1 million mail ballots still to be counted. Trump had been leading by ~600K.
UPDATE 4: Take it for what it's worth:
UPDATE 5: Does this seem odd to you, too? Nevada won’t release new vote totals until Thursday . Keeping NV in the bank, so to speak?
