Where Are We Now ... And Where Are We Headed?

Last night sundance featured a rather powerful post. It centered on the lastest totalitarian Covid Regime measures that are spreading in Europe, including coerced injections of experimental medications:

Obviously our recent German Victory post plays into this sundance post pretty well. However, the specific theme of the CTH post is that what’s going down in Europe may be a test drive for what the Globalist elites have planned for the US. Thus, the post centers on a video clip from The War Room. Bannon, unsurprisingly, features a lead in that includes the utterly unhinged Jim Cramer rant on having the military go door to door injecting the citizenry, which segues into an interview with Naomi Wolf—a remarkable talker. It’s worth a listen, and here’s a short video of what’s happening in France. Remarkable in two respects: 1) that police have nothing better to do, and 2) that there’s no shortage of people willing to do this for a, er, franc:

The Nazis are back in Paris

Continuing on the same theme but in a much Bigger Picture mode, there’s an interesting article at Zerohedge today that, with some judicious pruning, describes where we’re currently at. The manufactured Covid Panic is clearly part of the bigger plan of the Great Reset, but hat plan is facing headwinds—in Europe, but even more so in the US. Our Constitution—with its federal system that leaves (still) much local power to the states, and with the judiciary as a separate and equal branch of government—is, IMO, the barrier that that has so far thwarted the Great Reset/BBB. Here’s my edited selection from the much longer article:

Were you following the news this last week? Vaccine mandates are everywhere: one country, after another, is doubling-down, to try to force, or legally compel, full population vaccination. The mandates are coming because of the massive uptick in Covid – most of all in the places where the experimental mRNA gene therapies were deployed en masse. ...

Of course, the Pharma-Establishment know that the vaccines are no panacea. There are ‘higher interests’ at play here. It is driven rather by fear that the window for implementing its series of ‘transitions’ in the U.S. and Europe is closing. Biden still struggles to move his ‘Go-Big’ social spending plan and green agenda transition through Congress by the midterm election in a year’s time. And the inflation spike may well sink Biden’s Build Back Better agenda (BBB) altogether.

Actually, I doubt that Biden is really struggling to move “his” BBB plan. I think he’s fairly fully occupied struggling to remember his name. And that’s a very good thing. Obviously the closely divided Legislative Branch makes anything slow and difficult, and with a figurehead president there’s only so much the regime can get done. And all the more so because this is being done against the will of the country. Further, Ominous Omicron doesn’t appear to be anywhere close to living up to its billing.

Time is short. The midterm elections are but 12 months away, after which the legislative window shuts. The Green ‘transition’ is stuck too (by concerns that moving too fast to renewables is putting power grids at risk and elevating heating costs unduly), ...

It’s a race for the U.S. and Europe, ..., to push through their re-set agendas, ... A big reversal was foreshadowed by this week’s news: vaccine mandates and lockdowns, even in highly vaccinated areas, are returning. And people don’t like it.

The window for the Re-Set may be fast closing. One observer, noting all the frenetic Élite activity, has asked ‘have we finally reached peak Davos?’ Is the turn to authoritarianism in Europe a sign of desperation as fears grow that the various ‘transitions’ planned under the ‘re-set’ umbrella (financial, climate, vaccine and managerial expert technocracy) may never be implemented?

Cut short rather, as spending plans are hobbled by accelerating inflation; as the climate transition fails to find traction amongst poorer states (and at home, too); as technocracy is increasingly discredited by adverse pandemic outcomes; and Modern Monetary Theory hits a wall, because – well, inflation again.

Speaking of inflation, did you hear the one about how Exxon—which has been doing quite well for itself—has pay “increases” planned that don’t keep up with inflation? It’s true. The party in power is the one that tends to get blamed for all that stuff, and I’ll bet Exxon isn’t the only big corporation that’s pulling the same trick.

But now the author sketches out the Great Reset and what it’s all about—a money and power grab by the rulers who already have theirs but still want your paltry bit:

Are you paying attention yet? The great ‘transition’ is conceived as a hugely expensive shift towards renewables, and to a new digitalised, roboticised corporatism. It requires Big (inflationary) funding to be voted through, and a huge parallel (inflationary) expenditure on social support to be approved by Congress as well. The social provision is required to mollify all those who subsequently will find themselves without jobs, because of the climate ‘transition’ and the shift to a digitalised corporate sphere. But – unexpectedly for some ‘experts’ – inflation has struck – the highest statistics in 30 years.

Is this why they need so much excess mortality?

There are powerful oligarchic interests behind the Re-Set. They do not want to see it go down, nor see the West eclipsed by its ‘competitors’. So it seems that rather than back off, they will go full throttle and try to impose compliance on their electorates: tolerate no dissidence.

It was well understood that all these transitions would overturn long-standing human ways of life, that are ancient and deeply rooted and trigger dissidence – which is why new forms of social ‘discipline’ would be required. ... Such disciplines are now being trialled in Europe – with the vaccine mandates (even though scientists are telling them that vaccines cannot be the silver bullet for which they yearn). ...

This is what’s behind the increasingly chaotic tenor of American life—the chaos is intended to induce normal people to long for an authoritative (and authoritarian) solution to the turmoil. The problem for the Left is that much, if not most, of the turmoil and repressive Covid Regime measures are centered in Blue areas of the country. People in swing areas look around and see life continuing more or less normally in the Red areas. Plus, the turmoil hasn’t continued for so long that people no longer remember what normal life was like—and who was president when their lives were normal.

People are catching on. Judges are catching on. Even the woke military seems to be catching on to the idea that they need to be a real military. America may not be exceptional, but it is institutionally and culturally different than Europe. The socialist bug has still not taken as deep a hold. I remain cautiously optimistic—as far as one can be.
