Very Briefly Noted: Still Nothing Getting Better For Zhou
Miranda Devine seems to have some good sources—maybe better than good. Her article yesterday was titled:
There’s no hiding Biden’s fright over classified document scandal
However, Andrea Widburg’s discussion of Devine’s article gets to the real heart of Devine’s reporting:
Did Hunter use classified documents as part of his Ukraine business dealings?
This is exactly what I was getting at the other day. It seems unlikely that Zhou was simply a packrat, or even a connisseur of classified documents. He was running a business, selling his influence to foreign bidders. So it’s a no brainer that any investigators worth their wages will be looking to link the possession of specific documents to specific deals or communications that relate to that influence peddling business. Alternatively, any cover up artist worth their salt would be trying to bury any knowledge of such links.
This scandal is still not going away. Instead, we’re getting a steady drumbeat of revelations. Somebody is managing this.
I wonder if we will ever find out who is driving this, and the why…
The falling from grace of President #46? Not too far a drop, sadly to say. I will , however, offer some skepticism on this being 'end-game for Biden Presidency'. Hunter's laptop and much of it's contents have been 'out' for quite a while. Further, the several trips Hunter joined his VP dad on that upon return produced spectacular benefits and business deals for 'Hunter' were not really unseen. A billion and 1/2 'investment management' buck$ (if a 1% fee were charged that's around $150 mil/year, I believe) for a drug-addled loser seemed much more significant than the treatment it received. That said, exposure and 'possible dealings using these suddenly-found documents' can be downplayed, when necessary and their diversion complete since DOL maintains 'control' of investigations.
Mark, you know way better than I there's plenty of legitimate investigators in service @ DOL *sorry DOJ. (Too many fight with DOL in my truckin' years, I guess). Yet, by using DC office 'investigators' Mar A Lago was raided. I suggest Florida office staff wouldn't have engaged the show as it was done, even if they were convinced investigation was warranted. Granted, 'Biden', but his home(s) aren't being raided by armed, Dark clothed and BP vested military-like groups, such as Trumps' place was... a nicer search was/is being done which polishes that shiny object nicely.
Enough of my long diatribe: my fall-back remains; What to do with Cackles Harris, McCarthy, the gang of 8 and actual truth... If nothing else, the fact these things are going on represents a sad time in History... (Best Regards- WRH)
