Today seems like a bit of a slow news day, but there’s an article at NPR about Omimous Omicron that’s rather telling. It turns out a study was done that shows that most people who have been infected with Omicron were unaware that they had been infected. Think about that:
Over half of people infected with the omicron variant didn't know it, a study finds
Of course, the article being posted by NPR, they try to make this story fit within the continuing official narrative, but it’s hard. The best they can do is to try to raise some sort of scare about Omicron spreading “at lightning speed,” so, gosh, everyone should get an “Omicron specific booster”. But the real question, given that it’s so mild that most people don’t even know when they’ve got it, is: Who cares?
The majority of people likely infected with the omicron variant that causes COVID-19 were not aware they contracted the virus, which likely played a role in the rapid spread of omicron, according to a study published this week.
Researchers at Cedars-Sinai, a nonprofit health organization based in Los Angeles, examined the infectious status of individuals during the omicron surge in the U.S.
...
What did researchers find?
The study analyzed 2,479 blood samples from adult employees and patients at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center around the time of the omicron variant surge.
Of the 210 people who likely contracted the omicron variant — based on antibodies in their blood — 56% percent did not know they had the virus, the researchers found.E
They also found that only 10% of those who were unaware reported having any symptoms relating to a common cold or other type of infection.
A recent Alex Berenson post—and, by the way, he says he’ll be filing new lawsuits re his banning—appears to relate to this:
The half-truths and excuses from public health "experts" never end
Even when they want to be honest about the mRNA shots, they can't; and their fumblings are even more enraging than outright lies
The good news in this post is that people really are catching on to the Covid hoax and are just saying, No:
Loving Covid vaccines means never having to say you’re sorry.
Some less delusional members of the public health community have finally noticed the collapse in demand for the mRNA shots they have promoted for almost two years.
Now they are trying to understand and explain to each other why the public will not line up eagerly for endless shots - and why parents have resoundingly rejected Covid vaccines for kids.
And about those 87,000 new IRS agents? An interesting article at American Greatness explains why we probably shouldn’t hold our breaths:
Where are these 87,000 IRS Agents Going to Come From?
The IRS will be a bottom feeder for the industry, if they get that far.
Having worked for 25 years for one of the big three accounting firms, I am more than aware of the challenges the industry has in hiring qualified accounting staff. …
All three of the big three struggle to secure accounting and financial services staff. ...
Candidates need to actually have accounting skills to make good agents and auditors. ...
The problem that the IRS is going to face is simple—where are you going to get good qualified people to be agents? …
I like that, but there’s a counter argument—or so it seems to me. Other writers have noted that the number of people with really complicated returns is relatively limited, and that it therefore appears those new agents will be sicced on the middle class—people who’s returns are fairly transparent. The likelihood that they’ll be able to really turn up large amounts of unreported income to justify the new expenditures on personnel seems questionable. So, maybe this is just a jobs program for otherwise unemployable people with marginal qualifications—meaning, the IRS won’t actually be looking to hire people with serious accounting skills at all.
Good news: the Dems only tax the Rich.
Bad news: You’re Rich. (And so is everybody else).
They'll be raiding your local DMV office for people trained in good skills in relating to the public
