The base in question is Kharab al-Jir. It has an air strip for cargo planes and is considered one of the two most important bases in the Syraq area, located in the NE corner of Syria, the Al-Hasakah Governorate. It’s an illegal base located near the Al Omar oil field, which the US is ripping off.
The Kharab al-Jir base serves as a crucial hub for “international coalition” forces operating in Syria and Iraq. It facilitates the transfer of weaponry and equipment and has been transformed into a military airport for American forces. Recent renovations have enabled the airport to accommodate various cargo planes and transport troops.
BREAKING:
US military base in Syria is on fire The US military base at Kharab al-Jir in Syria has been struck by several drones. A massive fire is seen comming from the base
The attack on the US base in Syria was carried out by several kamikaze drones by the resistance in Iraq.
US military helicopters now are flying over parts of Syria-Iraq border after the attack.
It looks like things are going to escalate.
This is the location of the US Kharab al-Jir base that got attacked by Drones in northeastern Syria.
*The attack occured at the time the British & American Tankers + Fighter Jets were leaving the area. (Area where they patrol every day since many years)
Theorically there were no fighter jets around to try shoot the drones down.
The SDF (you know, the moderate rebels/"partners") were hit in several places on the 7th - mainly around Deir Ezzor - by a bunch of tribal fighters. They took some villages and SDF prisoners & got their hands on some US weapons; the SDF gov't in al-Hasakah closed the entrances to the City center. Maybe we're seeing the start of a death by a thousand cuts.
The information is appreciated, and the photos are incredible! Thanks so much.
