Within the past week we ran with a Maria Bartiromo interview of Harris poll CEO (and former Clinton pollster/adviser) Mark Penn. Penn was talking about how horrible the poll numbers are for the Dems and how they just didn’t get the idea of listening to the people. Looks like he was seeing the results of his latest poll:
Harvard-Harris Poll: Majority of Voters Say Donald Trump a Better President than Biden
Breitbart ^ | Jan 25, 2022 | by HANNAH BLEAUMost voters believe former President Donald Trump was a better commander-in-chief than President Joe Biden, a Harvard-Harris Poll released this week found.
The survey, taken January 19-20, 2022, among 1,815 registered voters, asked respondents who they thought was or “has been” a better president — Donald Trump or Joe Biden.
A majority, 53 percent, said Trump was a better president, while Biden fell six points behind, as 47 percent said he has been a better leader. That same survey also pitched a hypothetical 2024 matchup between Biden and Trump and found Trump leading six percentage points — 46 percent to 40 percent.
This morning we were discussing the Russia/Ukraine matter, and predicting that the US would end up having to accept Russia’s legitimate concerns regarding the aggressive moves NATO has been making toward Russia’s borders. Two stories this afternoon tend to confirm that take. The first story addresses the rapid unraveling of the Zhou administration’s position, with even Ukraine turning on the US:
Russia-Ukraine Crisis Deescalating As NATO Countries Break From Bellicose US-UK Stance
Date:1/25/22 4:14 PM
Author:Tyler DurdenDeescalation appears to be accelerating over the Ukraine crisis given a number of rapid developments which have seen lead NATO countries break from the more bellicose and threatening tone of the United States and UK. After Germany's neutrality toward the Russia-Ukraine crisis became apparent, Sweden is the latest to follow its lead of forbidding arms transfers to Kiev, while Croatia is out with a firm statement saying it will recall all of its troops from NATO in the event of war.
This followed on the heels of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announcing that circumstances in the region are now "under control" and that there's "no reason to panic" according to The Associated Press.
It appears the earlier hyped messages of an 'imminent Russian invasion' have backfired, as Ukraine officials have now turned to castigating the media for spreading a sense of overblown panic and doom among the population. Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov went so far as to say the threat of a Russian invasion "doesn't exist" despite there still being "risky scenarios". Other Ukraine defense officials have echoed this as well ...
Woops! Poof go hopes for a foreign policy success. Poof goes respect among foreign governments for the Zhou regime’s foreign policy team.
The second story is by Matt Taibbi and is downright amusing:
Authored by Matt Taibbi via TK News,
Joe Biden last week said the American response in Ukraine would be proportional to Vladimir Putin’s actions. “It depends,” the president posited, thoughts drifting like blobs in a lava lamp. “It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion…”
Alarms sounded all over Washington. The rip in the national political illusion was so severe, Republicans and Democrats were forced to come out agreeing, leaping into each other’s arms in panic. Secretary of State Tony Blinken, who increasingly looks like a man about to miss a historically important free throw, said …
In a later press conference, Biden explained he had to cut things short because, “You guys will ask me all about Russia.” He appears days from pulling his pants down to show reporters the electrodes White House chief of staff Ron Klain has probably attached to his testicles by now.

Turning to the Covid Regime, this sounds rather like a trial balloon, the kind we were talking about earlier today. The Zhou regime wants out of this mess, but they own it:
Pfizer Board Member Suggests End To Mask, Vaccine Mandates
Authored by Jack Phillips via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours),
Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former director of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and current board member at Pfizer, said that declining COVID-19 cases should signal to policymakers that it is time to lift more pandemic-related restrictions.
“I think certainly on the east coast where you see cases declining dramatically we need to be willing to lean in and do that very soon I think as conditions improve we have to be willing to relax some of these measures with the same speed that we put them in place,” he told “The Squawk Box” in a Monday interview when asked about whether mask mandates should be dropped.
Gottlieb said that “a lot of the acrimony” in the United States stems from a lack of “clear goalposts” about when some of the measures will end.
The former FDA commissioner also cited the Connecticut government’s recent decision to rescind vaccine mandates for state workers as a policy that other policymakers should adopt in the near future as COVID-19 cases decline nationwide.

Pfizer board member urging politicians to drop mandates for Pfizer products? Something’s going on.
Pfizer Moves to Intervene in High-Profile Case Dealing With COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Data
"Pfizer has asked a federal court to let it intervene in a high-profile case that has seen U.S. drug regulators try to slow-walk disclosure of data on Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.
Pfizer says it supports disclosing the data but wants to ensure that information exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is not “disclosed inappropriately.” (snip)
Plaintiffs, though, asked (Judge) Pittman to reject Pfizer’s bid."

The Zhou regime is batting zero, which is pretty impressive given basic mathematical odds.
We can all clearly see desperation setting in, so what is everyone's guess as to the next pivot/manufactured crisis/fear machine?
My guess is a tripling down on 'climate change' or 'climate disaster' headlines.
