So ask yourself, if this is happening in Gaza, is possible that it happens systematically in Israeli prisons—as repeatedly alleged and documented. We had Abu Grab, woops, Abu Ghraib. This stuff and far worse has been going on Palestine from at least 1948. Israeli TV shows have featured interviews with IOF veterans openly describing systematic massacres, rapes, and torture. Women being stripped down to their underwear & sexually harassed while male relatives are forced to watch
Female soldier forced boys to dance semi-naked & filmed them while laughing
2\ IDF soldiers sexually harassing minor girls in front of their male relatives & forcing women at gun point to strip down to their underwear, some are groped & touched.
Women who refuse are beaten, abused, detained for days & threatened to shoot to kill their children.
3\ IDF soldiers are robbing all valuables from the women, men & children whom they force to strip down to their underwear at gunpoint.
Soldiers deliberately destroy & grafitti extremely filthy sexual insults at women's rights organizations offices in Gaza & at homes they loot.
4\ Boys & men are disproportionately sexually assaulted by the IDF in Gaza (hundreds & hundreds of cases). This includes sexual harassment, sexual humiliation, abuse, public nudity & forced stripping.
Women & girls are also targeted in dozens of documented cases.
5\ As is usually the case with sexual violence, those hundreds of cases are what merely we know about.
Many victims may never speak up out of deep trauma; fear of the IDF killing & bombing them; or public shame & societal stigma.
This is a systematic & state condoned practice per the UN report
I have this ever-growing feeling that the Israelis are sealing their own doom with this kind of behaviour. Their physical existence is already massively endangered by the growing unity and military prowess of its Muslim neighbours, as well as by demographics. However, with these terrible actions, their moral and ethical raison d'etre is also now fatally undermined. As a former Israel supporter, I am still trying to get my head round how a nation that was created as a direct result of greatest crime in history can now behave like Nazis. And the scary thing is the complete lack of self-awareness of how the world perceives them.
To this day, I still remember a lot of the movie, Midnight Express. I can't watch violent movies anymore. It makes me almost physically ill. It was set in Turkey, not Israel.
Man's inhumanity to man. It started with Cain killing Abel and continues to the present.
