Two Great Tweets: Covid And Childcare
These are two tweets this morning from Margot Cleveland that I really liked. I had been reading Will Chamberlain criticizing Trump's tweets and handling of Covid and, to my way of thinking, Margot strikes a reasonable balance that I think will end up reflecting overall public opinion. The second tweet speaks to economic, political, and philosophical Wrong Think in America:
If this is "extraordinarily widespread," and having flattened the curve, prevented overcrowding of hospitals, obtained supplies, obtained knowledge of how to treat/prevent, to me this doesn't mean close things down again, it means to go about business, with the knowledge learned. https://t.co/UgnOE14W2n

Yup, let's take more pay away from families who choose to have a stay-at-home parent, so those who choose not to don't have to pay as much. . . and then former can no longer afford to have stay-at-home parent. https://t.co/nJBGyIXxFs
