They Tell Us Now?
I won’t claim to be able to sort out what’s going on in DC around Zhou right now. One thing is clear, and that’s that the Political Establishment is still obsessed with keeping Donald Trump out of the White House. At a guess, I’d say that the continuing debate has to do with how best to accomplish that—by simply straight up supporting Zhou or by angling to remove him. And this is a game that all parties can play. For example, what is former Speaker Kev’s game in sharing this with us now?
McCarthy details what Biden's really like behind closed doors: 'Sticks to the cards'
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy revealed for the first time on Wednesday that President Biden uses notecards in private meetings with small groups of people.
"He still has a teleprompter when you meet behind closed doors," McCarthy told the "Bottom Line" co-hosts on FOX Business. "But the teleprompter are cards. I found when I met with him, it would just be a couple of them. He would read from the card."
McCarthy said that it was difficult to "deviate" from Biden during private negotiations, referencing when he spoke with the president on the debt ceiling.
"He just sticks to the cards," he said of Biden. "And if you go, if you deviate from the cards, he can't continue onward there.
OK, get ready for the punch line. Ready?
"Look, he has served the country, regardless whether you like it or not. I respect the man for serving the country. I thank him for that service, but he is not of the age that is best to be able to be serving in the presidency, especially the position that he is to going forward with what I have watched to serve again."
Yeah, so this is a revelation of something that, basically, everybody knows already. It’s just a bit more vivid. So what’s the point? At this distance from the elections you have to suppose that the point is to remove Zhou from candidacy. Is that ploy, coming from a long time DC insider and this far out, intended to help Trump? Is it intended to hurt Trump? Those alternatives would cover most bases, but any number of specific scenarios could be sketched out. I won’t pretend to know what former Speaker Kev has on his mind.
Now here’s another thought. This “revelation” has to be the biggest open secret in DC, right? Further, we know that Zhou’s “mental” condition hasn’t improved from back when former Speaker Kev was the current Speaker. Why hasn’t anyone else shared this type of experience with us? Did Kev consult with anyone else before sharing this?
And it all gets weirder. Up top I mentioned that there are people who want Zhou to continue. Who would they be? Well, at a guess, those would be the people who are donating fantastic amounts of money to Zhou’s campaign. Can you imagine spending $250,000 to attend a Zhou fundraiser? I can’t, either, but there are people like that. Here is Max Blumenthal schooling Judge Nap on who really tells Zhou what to do. Judge Nap had suggested that Vickie Nuland has that job, but Max begs to differ. It’s a fascinating response that tells you a lot about America and American politics. Just more confirmation of the contempt in which us peasants are held! McCarthy had first hand knowledge of what a basket case Biden is and yet he said nothing!! I particularly liked the part about where Biden uses/needs notecards even in private meetings and if you try and get him off topic he just stops talking. It’s a total outrage that the people we elect to office are so negligent and pathetic at discharging their duties to the point that they know the POTUS is a threat to national security and has made this country a laughingstock but choose to sit on this knowledge and proceed as if it’s business as usual. No wonder this country is in such a mess, the loyal opposition simply doesn’t exist. We elect them to do a job and they stab us in the back every frickin time.
So, former Speaker Kev is admitting that he previously got rolled by a dummy. Great.
