In a recent video with Judge Nap—Might US Pull the Plug on Israel?—Alastair Crooke discussed the prospects for a coup or counter-coup in Israel. Basically, he noted that the Revisionist Zionists (cf. War Roundup--Russia and Palestine), under the heading of Ben G’vir, the national security minister, have constructed what Crooke terms an army that is separate from the IDF. In fact this isn’t a new development. This army is, perhaps, closer to being a tribal militia—it is a power base in the military sense, a counter balance to the IDF that is led by secular Zionists whom Revisionist Zionists and the settler movement regard as softies and even traitors.
In the following passage, Crooke describes how this militia has flexed its muscles, facing down the IDF, which is afraid to resist because the IDF itself has been compromised by Jewish Supremacists. He also suggests that the US attempted to sound out Gantz, the IDF commander, regarding forcing Netanyahu out but Gantz refused to join in a regime change. Pay attention to the dynamics involved here, which Crooke describes. The contrast between the nations of Judah and Israel have obvious Biblical overtones—those who view themselves as part of the nation of Judah clearly regard themselves as Jews in a sense that they don’t extend—or not fully—to those in the nation of Israel. The nation of Israel has fallen away and is an enemy of the ‘Jews.’
What Netanyahu has done with Ben G'vir and Smotrich and the others from the beginning of this government has been to build his own army separate from the regular forces, from theMinistry of Defense, so Ben G'vir controls police forces, border forces, other military forces, all of which answer to him and not to the Ministry of Defense. This is a powerful force and it's mostly staffed with settlers who also support him and support the rabbis who stand behind him, and and this force is complemented by the fact that he's been handing out American weapons to hundreds of thousands of settlers in the West Bank and they have become a sort of informal vigilante army. So you take the forces that come under Ben G'vir and you take the forces of this vigilante Army of the West Bank, and they call themselves the state of Judea coming down to challenge the state of Israel--state of Israel being the Europeanized part of Israel, the more secular side of it. So the state of Judah will come down.
That's what happened a couple of weeks ago when they stormed into two military bases--IDF, I mean. That's a formal regular Israeli Army bases in Israel. They stormed them order to force the release of a number of their colleagues who had been accused of abusing, torturing Palestinian prisoners and were being subject to investigation by the Army. And they stopped that process and they stormed in, fully armed, in Israeli uniform, into an IDF base, met their counterparts in the regular army and took control over the bases. The people who were investigated have largely been released and no charges are likely. No one was arrested for breaching the security of a military base or anything. The vigilantes have returned back to the hillls of Judea. And so that's the big issue.
If the United States gave a green light to people like Gantz--I'm not sure Gantz would agree to do this, anyway--but if they gave the green light to the [Israeli] military to mount a coup--and the military do have great support in Israel they're seen as being 'of us' and being held in real esteem--unwarranted esteem, because it's been the Israeli Army that has been doing the killing in Gaza. It's not West Bankers, it's the Israeli Army.
So, a completely normal country that we’re arming to the teeth. But today we learn how the Israeli Shin Bet (internal security) views these developments. Note that Ronen Bar refers to the Jewish terrorist movement as “hilltoppers”, in a way similar to the way Crooke discusses them coming down from the hills of the nation of Judah. Bar paints a dire picture of a society on the verge of civil war, embracing terrorism, with the terrorists armed by elements of the government—and ultimately by the US. These Jewish terrorists regard many of their fellow Jews as enemies, not just Arabs:

Ronen Bar, head of the Shin Bet sent the most dire letter I have seen, warning against the emerging threat of settler terrorism. He believes it is supported by many in the system and is going to grow into a movement that will threaten the well-being of Israel. Here are the most important portions of the letter, as reported by Guy Peleg of Channel 12:
"I am writing you this letter in pain. In deep fear. As a Jew, as an Israeli, and as a security official, I learned about the increasing phenomenon of Jewish terrorism by the hilltop youth. The hilltop youth phenomenon has long created a significant amount of terrorism towards Palestinians.
With the deterioration of the security situation, and the inability of the police to enforce the law, and perhaps hidden encouragement from [the police], the phenomenon is changing and becoming more significant. From the work of individuals, it is now taken up by hundreds. There is no longer a fear of executive detention due to the good conditions they receive there.
Along with the money they receive when freed and the praise they receive from members of Knesset, alongside the delegitimization of security services. It has moved from secretive and narrow activity to open and large-scale organization. Sometimes, it is due to the use of weapons provided by the state. From avoiding the security forces to attacking them. From disconnecting from the establishment to receiving support from parts of the establishment.
The answer is not the Shin Bet. The Shin Bet is a band-aid designed to deal with a small group of extremists. It cannot deal with the root of the problem. What is needed is a coalition of navigators, including ministers, government departments, rabbis, and regional leaders. Without that, it might makes right.
The leaders of this movement attempted to bring the system to a total loss of control. We are on the verge of a process that will change our reality. The damage to Israel and to most of the settlers is beyond description:
1. Global delegitimization even among our closest friends.
2. Significant IDF forces are needed, and they are already struggling to meet operational needs.
3. Revenge attacks that will launch another front in the already existing multi-front war.
4. The entry of new elements in the terror cycle that were out of it.
5. A slippery slope towards lawlessness.
6. Difficulty in creating regional alliances against the Shi'ite axis.
7. Above all, it is a stain on Judaism and all of us.
Continuing in this direction will lead to a great amount of bloodshed and change the face of Israel into something unrecognizable."
The bottom line is that too many elements in Israeli society support Jewish terrorism. Meanwhile, the outcomes it leads to could undermine the existence of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state. This is a crisis that must be addressed.
Here’s another illustration of the state of Israeli society, which is embraced by many in America as perfectly normal.
Here’s the story as presented by the JPost, which is widely read by Zionists in America:
Even Jerusalem post lied
But here’s the real story—the prisoner was injured by Israeli attacks and categorically denies being harmed by Hamas:
Massive Israeli lie on Hamas treatment of the Hostages debunked by ... Noa Argamani, a hostage. She wrote: "I can't ignore what has been going on in the media here in the last 24 hours, things are out of context. They didn't beat me and didn't cut my hair. I was in a building that was blown up by the 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗶 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲. The exact quote is: "This weekend, after the shooting, as I said, I had cuts all over my head, *and hit my whole body* (I emphasize that they didn't hit me but I was hurt all over my body from the collapse of the structure on me) As a victim of the 7th of October, I will not allow myself to be a victim again by the media"
Lawrence Wilkerson, former chief of staff to Colin Powell both in the military and as Secretary of State, provides context:
Let me preface these remarks with: I never, never, ever believe Israeli figures. I’ve been in the government too long to know that the Israelis are patent liars. In their intelligence community, in their propaganda community certainly, and in their leadership: they are inveterate liars. Let me say that again. They are liars. So, you can’t believe anything that comes out of Jerusalem. It’s all propaganda.
