There’s a smart X thread up today that’s also available as an unroll. What the presenter does is present video cllips of well known public figures speaking forthrightly—as far back as 2002—about what Israel has done as a matter of routine to the Palestinians. Now, this isn’t some sort of historical disquisition. What is being demonstrated is that basically impartial people, even people favorable to Israel, are aware of the implications and sheer lack of human decency that underlie Israeli policy toward non-Jews.
Because I can’t embed twitter videos I’ll combine both the original thread as well as the Thread Unroll. Follow either link for the videos, which range up to 5 minutes long and present further expansions of the views of these public figures.
Zbigniew Brzezinski was a top US foreign policy official, not at all a radical, in fact the opposite. But he acknowledged truths about Israel that will end your career. Just look at this interview from 2002, when Israel was doing another one of its routine massacres of Palestinians:
"I think Israel's international position is very badly damaged. A country which started off as a symbol of recovery of a people who were greatly persecuted now looks like a country that is persecuting people. And that's very bad."
"The Israelis are becoming increasingly like the white supremacist South Africans, viewing the Palestinians as a lower form of life, not hesitating to kill a great many of them and justifying this on the grounds that they are being the objects of terrorism."
"But you cannot define the loss of human life in terms of the number of Israelis killed by inexcusable Palestinian terror. The fact of the matter is that three times as many Palestinians have been killed, and a relatively small number of them were really militants. Most were civilians. Some hundreds were children."Zbigniew Brzezinski, a top US foreign policy official, was saying Israelis were "becoming increasingly like white supremacist South Africans, viewing the Palestinians as a lower form of life, not hesitating to kill a great many of them" in 2002. And the media and political class is calling that "pro-Hamas terrorist anti-Semitic violent speech" today. It's utter insanity.
When Brzezinski refers to Henry in that interview it's Kissinger, a totally deranged Zionist who said Israel has the right to defend itself, never does wrong, Palestinians are evil, all the same lines Brzezinski destroyed from his future son-in-law here:
Zbigniew Brzezinski, top US foreign policy official and future father-in-law of Joe Scarborough, directly to his face during the 2008 Israeli massacre of Gaza: "You have such a stunningly superficial knowledge of what went on that it's almost embarrassing to listen to you."
Earlier today Hillary Clinton went on Joe Scarborough's show to say that anti-genocide protesters don't understand history, and that Palestinians are to blame for the failure of peace negotiations, referring to Camp David as Joe and Mika gleefully nod along in agreement. This is the exact point Mika's father destroyed and humiliated her husband on in front of a national live audience.
And now they're pretending like that never happened as they launder Clinton's deranged lies. It's astonishing how shameless these genocidal propagandists are.
If you follow the link and watch the video, Zbig goes on to discuss peace talks and who’s really responsible for their failure. The point about Zbig is that he was anything but some dovish humanitarian peacenik. It’s just that he retained some semblance of a conscience.
Jimmy Carter, former President of the United States, came out with a book in 2006 titled "Palestine: Peace, not Apartheid." Again, this is not a radical, but he called Israel an Apartheid state, said Hamas was willing to negotiate reasonably and fairly but Israel refuses to do so and instead wants to continue its genocidal occupation. What did they do with this former US President saying the same thing as Brzezinski?
They smeared him as an anti-Semite and forced the cancellation of his speaking events. Again, they were literally cancelling the former President from giving talks. And no one in the media and political class cared. In fact they gleefully joined in on the smearing of him.
The level of derangement is astonishing, and it's purely cynical. They know Carter and Brzezinski aren't radicals and were just stating plain facts accepted by the entire world, as we saw again just now in the UN General Assembly voting for Palestinian statehood. But that's not allowed. That's proscribed in the US and West by the media and political class. That's banned. It's Zionism and the genocidal Israeli occupation regime uber alles.
Carter was, admittedly, a creepy person on a personal level. But this is a guy who had first hand experience in international affairs at the very highest level. His views should be at a minimum a subject for serious consideration rather than reflexive cancelling.
John Mearsheimer is another person who is not a radical, just states the plain facts: "One of the things I find most disturbing is not just the killing, but the cruelty. The Israelis seem to take joy in inflicting punishment and cruelty on Palestinians."
Renowned scholar John Mearsheimer says the raid into the hospital by Israeli regime terrorists disguised as doctors and female nurses is a clear blatant war crime, and talks about the disturbing depravity and sadistic cruelty of the Israel regime's ongoing genocide of Gaza.
Of course Mearsheimer has endured the smears for years and years. For speaking truth to power.
Here's Jeffrey Sachs, another renowned scholar who was repeatedly named one of the most influential thinkers by the media and political class, but whose analysis of Israel now is deemed beyond the pale by them, as they regurgitate the most vile propaganda
Jeffrey Sachs recently did an interview exposing the genocidal Israeli occupation regime's propaganda and lies, how the Western media and political class is complicit in it, and how the US and Biden in particular are responsible for the mass killing in Gaza

I have traveled to Israel and the Middle East......The distillation is simply that the average Palestinian who wants to live in peace is held hostage by extreme terrorist factions who constantly agitate the Israelis.
When the Israelis clamp down, the results are predictable, as the terrorists surround themselves with the innocents.
It seemed to me that the last President's Abraham Accords were a move in the right direction, but anything that T did was dismissed.
Now we are in another mess, worldwide, due to the current administrations policies ...war, war. Everything they touch turns to crap.
That's the danger that Nietzsche pointed out: by fighting monsters, we often become them.
