Crunch time may be approaching for Republicans—approaching fast. The Zhou Regime is talking about having deep Deep Stater Avril Haines do a “classification review” of Trump’s property that was seized in the MAL Raid. This is absurd on its face—they’re still trying to gaslight the American people into believing that the POTUS is no better than a clerk for the Deep State, rather than the Original Authority for all classification and declassification.
My take on this move is that it’s an attempt to do an end run on the judge in Florida, and it shows how terrified the Deep State—and the Establishment generally—is of having this case taken over by the courts. They know the judges won’t be fooled—not when they’ve read the briefs. I’ve already seen some statements by lefty legal types like David Laufman (yes, the same guy who resigned from DoJ in disgrace over the Carter Page FISA scandal) suggesting that the courts need to butt out. Interesting, isn’t it? The Deep State was eager to use the courts to put up an appearance of legality with their absurd “search warrant,” but now you can tell they’re scared stiff of a real court challenge.
You have to wonder, are we getting close to a coup here? Which Republicans will step up?
Here’s analysis of what’s going on, via former Gorsuch law clerk Mike Davis (I picked this up from Red State):
1. President Trump lawfully declassified the documents and took a personal copy.
2. Former presidents have federal staff, security clearances, secure offices, and Secret Service protection.
3. Where’s the (political) “damage assessment” for Hillary’s hacked illegal home server?
4. Where’s the “damage assessment” after clear evidence indicating President Biden, his son Hunter, and his brother James were on Chinese and Ukrainian payrolls?
5. This is clearly a political cleanup job, because Trump took his declassified, personal Crossfire Hurricane docs.
6. If these (declassified, personal) records were so dangerous in President Trump’s possession, why did:
- President Biden wait 18 months to retrieve them?
- AG Merrick Garland deliberate “for weeks” before obtaining (illegal) warrant?
- He wait 3 days to execute warrant?P.S.

This would be funnier, except that I’m afraid it’s not just leftists:
If we are getting close to a coup, I’ve crunched the numbers several times and I keep coming up with the same answer for which Republicans will step up-000.
The phrase "crunch time" evokes a half time girding of loins wherein a team facing a serious loss reaches down into their soul and steels themselves for an all out effort to fend off that loss. I'm afraid that this is simply not an appropriate analogy for the Republican Party. Will somebody please remind me of any time in the past several decades when the GOP has done anything but snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? I'll wait....
