If you want to read some sound commentary on the tone and approach of Zhou’s harangue, you can’t do better than this:
As I said this morning, my assumption is that this bit of theater is primarily intended to distract from Zhou’s many failures--and those that are quietly metastasizing, such as inflation and the disaster that is government education. Incredibly, the guy who tells Zhou what to say and do believes this hectoring and demeaning performance demonstrated “leadership”:
Greg Gutfeld hits on most of the points I tried to make this morning, and adds some as well:

Michael Tracey makes an excellent point:

And speaking of affluence, who stands to get hit hardest?
This link is to a graph, but suffice it to say those hit hardest make less than $50K. Which is exactly what you’d expect from the constituency that Tracey identifies.
But here’s the thing. This whole performance can’t be serious. With a hat tip to TGP we learn from the WaPo that the EO exempts postal workers. That’s not some sort of misprint:
According to a report by the Washington Post, USPS workers are EXEMPT even though they are required to be included in executive orders that apply to federal employees.
Via WaPo:
U.S. Postal Service workers were not included in Biden’s executive order requiring all federal employees to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to a White House official speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss not-yet-public portions of the president’s plan.
The postal workers would be strongly encouraged to comply with the mandate, the official said.
The move exempts a massive chunk of the federal workforce — 644,000 employees and growing as the agency ramps up seasonal hiring — that interacts daily with an equally large swath of the public.
NEWS: White House official tells me USPS workers are NOT included in President Biden’s vaccine requirement, but “we strongly encourage them to comply with these standards.”
That’s a massive chunk of the federal workforce — 644k & growing — that’s not required to be vaccinated. https://t.co/oWwMHqqIqj

So Joe Biden is unleashing the might of the US government onto small businesses in the private sector, however he is giving an exemption to a federal agency with more than 640,000 employees.
I understand that we live in bizarre times, but is it conceivable that any court would take such an inconsistent mandate seriously. How could the Solicitor General seriously argue before the SCOTUS that this draconian mandate applies to all federal employees--except for 644,000 postal workers? This smells like a desperate move to distract.
Don Surber:
So the people who visit every house and business in America each day do not need to be vaccinated.
It's science!
I doubt that the mandate supporters out there realize that the mandate is to be FULLY vaccinated. They're one missing booster jab away from being unvaccinated, so they're always one step away from being fired. Do they want to live like that for the rest of their life?
