That the Zhou genius team has led America into war with Russia is alarming. Increasingly, the big picture that seems to be emerging is that this is one facet of a war that is—at least in significant part—directed inward at America and its constitutional republic. Consider the full out assault on open public debate of issues of general concern, the unprecedented attacks on the Judicial Branch of our constitutional republic, and the demonization of no less than half of the populace (in the big picture, actually far more) via J6, CRT, BLM. And then there is the Covid Regime’s attack on personal freedom of movement and association, as well as its systematic beat-down of the backbone of our freedoms—small business.
The result is that the American people are faced with a bewildering array of threats, some identifying the enemy as abroad, other threats identified within—our neighbors, our thoughts, our selves. The good news that has emerged, however, is that by and large the public, while lacking in leadership to an unfortunate extent, have no surrendered their basic values and, when given the opportunity, have pretty consistently rejected these assaults.
I’ll start the day with a reminder of the dangers presented by the American war on Russia. However, I first want to recommend a new substack by Dr. Robert Malone which identifies the major source of this bewildering array of attacks on our civilization and the very concept of human nature (as embodied in our constitutional order under God). That source is the globalist transhumanist movement:
Davos Man, his World Economic Forum, and his Servants
Who are the ones trained to serve the self-appointed globalist overlords?
As Malone explains, it is Davos Man who has purchased the loyalty of our elites in government, politics, education, and religion. This has been accomplished through the false gospel of progress but also, when necessary, through crass corruption via the Big Money of globalism. Malone’s substack serves as a handy reference in many respects, and an orientation to make sense of what’s going on in so many seemingly diverse directions:
First, “who are they?” The current 100 WEF full members (“Strategic Partners”) are drawn from the largest corporations in the world, together with their owners and managers (referred to as “Davos Man”). The list of corporations, owners and managers who control the WEF is not disclosed and membership can only be inferred indirectly. However, the WEF members do not act alone, but have developed various groups of globally distributed trainees who generally act in accordance with the detailed policies and positions developed and distributed by WEF leadership. These training programs have been operating for over three decades, resulting in placement, distribution and rapid advancement of many thousands of WEF-trained operatives throughout the world. WEF chairman Klaus Schwab has famously claimed that these operatives have been strategically inserted into key positions in various governments, as well as influential spots in key industries such as media, finance, and technology.
Please note that, while for most of us the very concept of Davos Man is a novelty, and until recently few had heard of the WEF, the reality is that the roots of the movement behind most of our major currents of thought and action go back “decades”.
“Davos Man” is a term coined by former Harvard University Director of the Center for International Affairs Professor Dr. Samuel Huntington (1927-2008) to define an emerging group of economic elites who are members of a social caste which has “little need for national loyalty, view national boundaries as obstacles that are thankfully vanishing, and see national governments as residues from the past whose only useful function is to facilitate the elite’s global operations.” The title of his prescient 2004 article published in The National Interest is telling: “Dead Souls: The Denationalization of the American Elite”.
Many readers will be familiar with Huntington from his book The Clash of Civilizations. However, the essay that Malone cites is truly prescient in foreseeing the developing conflicts in our politics that we see more clearly today. Some examples of how Huntington foresaw the rise of populism, and the reasons for the fierce attempts at repression of thinking rooted in the traditions of Western civilization with its devotion to human nature—remember, Huntington was writing these words in 2004. There’s much, much more, but I offer these samples, taken out of context:
The views of the general public on issues of national identity differ significantly from those of many elites. The public, overall, is concerned with physical security but also with societal security, which involves the sustainability--within acceptable conditions for evolution--of existing patterns of language, culture, association, religion and national identity. For many elites, these concerns are secondary to participating in the global economy, supporting international trade and migration, strengthening international institutions, promoting American values abroad, and encouraging minority identities and cultures at home. The central distinction between the public and elites is not isolationism versus internationalism, but nationalism versus cosmopolitanism.
... the number of dead souls is small but growing among America's business, professional, intellectual and academic elites. Possessing in Scott's words, "titles, power and pelf", they also have decreasing ties with the American nation. ... A major gap is growing in America between the dead or dying souls among its elites and its "Thank God for America" public. This gap was temporarily obscured by the patriotic rallying after September 11. In the absence of repeated comparable attacks, however, the pervasive and fundamental forces of economic globalization make it likely that the denationalizing of elites will continue.
Growing differences between the leaders of major institutions and the public on domestic and foreign policy issues affecting national identity form a major cultural fault line cutting across class, denominational, racial, regional and ethnic distinctions. In a variety of ways, the American establishment, governmental and private, has become increasingly divorced from the American people. Politically, America remains a democracy because key public officials are selected through free and fair elections. In many respects, however, it has become an unrepresentative democracy because on crucial issues--especially those involving national identity--its leaders pass laws and implement policies contrary to the views of the American people. ...
Apart from business and the military, contemporary American elites in categories such as the media, labor, religion, law and bureaucracy were almost twice to more than three times as liberal as the public as a whole, according to a 1980s survey. Another survey similarly found that on moral issues elites are "consistently more liberal" than rank-and-file Americans. Governmental, nonprofit and communications elites in particular are overwhelmingly liberal in their outlooks. So also are academics. ...
In today's America, a major gap exists between the nation's elites and the general public over the salience of national identity compared to other identities and over the appropriate role for America in the world. Substantial elite elements are increasingly divorced from their country, and the American public, in turn, is increasingly disillusioned with its government.
In significant ways, the issues Huntington describes have gained far greater focus since Huntington’s death in 2008. In the next excerpt Malone identifies the people and institutions behind the overall ideology that Huntington describes in general terms. At the same time, without saying so, you can see why the Globalist movement is so determinedly antagonistic toward both any hint of Trumpian style populism at home as well as a sovereign Russia:
“Why should you care?” The WEF is the organization which has masterminded the globally harmonized planning, development and implementation of the lockdowns, mandates, authoritarian vaccine campaigns, suppression of early treatment options, global targeting of dissenting physicians, censorship, propaganda, information and thought control programs which we have all experienced since late 2019. ...
The musings and plans of this trade organization read and sound like the implausible sinister plot of an international spy novel concocted by a second-rate version of Ian Fleming, John Le Carre, or Robert Ludlum. Unfortunately, they are backed by the financial resources of many of the wealthiest people in the world. For examples of the muddled thinking and pseudo-science which these self-appointed masters of the universe proudly publish, I recommend that you do your best to read COVID-19: The Great Reset, The Great Narrative for a better future (both by Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret), and How to Prevent the Next Pandemic (by Bill Gates). A detailed interactive summary of their policy positions and the interrelationships of those policies (“transformation map”) can be found here and for COVID-19, here.
…
Whatever your answer, you deserve to know who these people are that wish to control the world, your daily life, what information you can access, what you are allowed to think, and what you are allowed to own. You deserve to know who they represent, and what are their names. ...
These people have been trained to believe in and support a globalist form of unelected government, in which business is at the center of the management and decision-making process. They have been trained to advance the interests of a global transnational government which represents a public-private partnership in which the business interests of the WEF members take precedence over the constitution of the United States. The WEF believes that the concept of independent nation states is obsolete and must be replaced with a global government which controls all. They are fundamentally anti-democratic, and their views are both fundamentally corporatist and globalist, which is another way of saying that they are for totalitarian Fascism – the fusion of the interests of business with the power of the state- on a global scale. These people do not represent the interests of the nation-state in which they reside, work, and may hold political office, but rather their allegiance appears to be to the WEF vision of a dominant world government which has dominion over nations and their constitutions. …
And now, an impressionistic view of the world as we awake to it today, May 7, 2022, governed by an elite that doesn’t consult with the subject population:
Tracey explains, in his way, why the explanations offered by our rulers are so “incoherent”—it’s to hide the truth. But “US hegemony” as a goal is, in a fundamental sense, a bit of a red herring. Global government, yes, but that is a fundamental rejection of the United States as traditionally understood by the American people: a constitutional republic. Global government under US hegemony will NOT resemble anything like the American republic, such as it any longer remains. It will be global fascist hegemony—the global corporate order that sets the rules, law be damned. Russia is a real opponent of that Rules-Based Order, but for domestic political purposes is no more than a convenient and emotion laden boogey man. Note that Moulton states openly that Ukraine is simply one battlefield in a bigger war—the war against Russia, the war we have never been consulted about:
Finally, the inherent fanaticism that Malone well describes is revealed in this tweet. The economic suicide is tolerable for the elites, because in their calculations it is the little people—those to be further culled in Gates’ next pandemic—will bear the brunt. As indeed we will:
"its leaders pass laws and implement policies contrary to the views of the American people."
Agreed. What nobody has ever explained to my satisfaction is why Americans keep voting these Quislings into office.
Regarding Huntington’s “dead souls,” I seem to recall Christopher Lasch saying similar things in his book, “The Revolt of the Elites and the Betrayal of Democracy” (1996)
