I apologize in advance if the title sounds like I’ll be presenting a long essay. This post will be a few snapshots, just to remind readers of the big picture. Right. As if you didn’t know already. Nevertheless, in the current context the big picture is supremely important.
The extraordinary jihad against Donald Trump—that’s really the only appropriate word for this unholy war—has been instigated because Trump posed an existential threat to the global ambitions of the American Deep State and Ruling Class. This is not the place to attempt a history of the period from the end of the Cold War to the present. Suffice it to say that the central theme of the Neocon controlled Deep State has been the encirclement and gradual squeezing of the Russian Federation to bring it into subjection to the Anglo-American led West. The early stage of this process saw the eastward expansion of NATO, coupled with the NATO war on Serbia. In addition, this program was greatly assisted by bin Laden’s attack on the American homeland, which facilitated the enormous US military expansion into both the Middle East but also into Central Asia. Eventually, under the Clinton - Obama team, we saw the attempt to subject the entire Middle East to the globalist New World Order.
At the same time, this period witnessed the hollowing out of the American manufacturing sector and much of its economy outside the financial sector, as well as the concerted Cultural Marxist assault on traditional American culture and its place in key societal institutions—educational, legal, medico-scientific, etc. The rising discontent in America with these cultural developments led to the rise of Trump’s populist-oriented movement. Trump’s program for Making America Great Again entailed a direct repudiation of the Globalist and Neocon projects, with their Cultural Marxist underpinnings:
On the domestic front, Trump proposed to empower ordinary, non-elite Americans with their traditional cultural values;
On the foreign policy front Trump largely rejected the ideal of Empire in favor of a policy of pursuing American national interests. That included a willingness to work cooperatively with foreign powers—including Russia—and a determination to distance the US from entanglements with globalist dominated centers of power. That included much of the Globalist dominated EU with its woke trans-humanist agenda, using global warming mythology as its club to enforce compliance.
Trump’s rise was a threat to all of this. The Russia Hoax—reviving Cold War hysterias—was the first attempt to derail Trumpian populism. There’s an irony in that, because the Russia Hoax failed to resonate with its actual target—the traditional anti-Communist Right. Instead it was wildly embraced by the anti- anti-Communist Left. The result was a Trump victory in 2016, followed by a further victory over the Russia Hoax forces in the Ukraine Impeachment. That impeachment victory had to have got alarm bells ringing everywhere, because Ukraine had for years been ground zero for political money laundering. Eventually the Power Elite circled its wagons and used a combined campaign of unchecked political street violence, a weaponized lab produced virus, and the trashing of our election laws in the name of a fake medical emergency to throw the 2020 election to perhaps the most corrupt politician in American history.
So there we are.
Our snapshots begin with the official Neocon position on the Zhou scandals—when Eli Lake speaks you know Neocons are listening. In the face of overwhelming evidence of gross criminality on the part of the Biden Crime Family stretching back for at least a decade or more, the first line of defense is simple denial and stonewalling, sometimes supplemented by the narrative of a father’s love for his wayward son. But Lake presents the core denial:
NB: Lake has stated that the following tweet is “facetious”. Reviewing comments by followers of Lake, that appears to be the case. However, that being the case, Lake’s tweet admirably summarizes pro-Biden narratives.

All this potential foreign influence stuff with Hunter Biden is exactly what the Kremlin wants you to think. If you're looking for a story here, it's this: Joe Biden loves his troubled son. Everything else is disinformation that should be banned on social media.

There it is in one short tweet. If you believe in “potential foreign influence stuff” you’re a Kremlin puppet. Notice the clever wording. “Potential”—an escape clause meaning, ‘Hey, I never said there was NO foreign influence stuff!’’ “Kremlin”—that’s a pejorative, but more nuanced than simply shouting, ‘Russia, Russia, Russia!’ A father’s luv for a troubled son. Translation: All must be forgiven. No, that doesn’t mean that the son’s sins must be forgiven by the father. You, We the People, must forgive the father everything! And just in case anyone still isn’t convinced, is still in the grip of Wrongthink, that’s all disinformation and—First Amendment be damned—should be banned. That’s right. “Banned” means “censored”. Did he say “censored?” Nope. He meant it, but that’s just another escape clause.
The Donald Himself weighed in yesterday at Newsweek with an opinion article. I assume he wasn’t the primary author—it’s far too focused for that. And it really does get to the heart of the conspiracy. Russia is at the heart of it all. If the American people once understand that, so much else in American political life comes tumbling down—including the justification for an Empire that is on the verge of destroying our Republic:
Donald Trump: The Real Victim of the Russiagate Hoax Wasn't Me. It Was the American People
And, of course, he’s right. We were the real targets. It was we that the Power Elite wanted to box into a self delusional worldview that served to justify their every legal, constitutional, and human rights abuse. As a political campaign oriented op-ed goes, I found it rather powerful. Here are the highlights—note Trump’s emphasis on how the Russia Hoax has been used to weaponize the government against We the People:
The report by Special Counsel John Durham makes clear beyond a shred of doubt that the Russia Hoax was the most atrocious weaponization of our government in American history. It was a crime like no other.
Trump repeatedly refers to the Durham Report. But despite the cover-up elements of that report—concealing the most egregious aspects of DoJ and FBI misconduct—it was unable to hide the overall scale of the crime.
Seven years ago, I ran for office taking on all the most corrupt forces and entrenched interests in our nation's capital. My agenda was an existential threat to a Washington establishment that got rich and powerful bleeding America dry.
...
In response, an unelected cabal in the senior ranks of our government, in concert with their chosen candidate, Hillary Clinton, and their allies in the media, launched the de-facto coup attempt known as the Russia Hoax.
Again, this is true, even though Barr and Durham tried to cover it up. The coup conspiracy was comprehensive, involving all branches of the government and political establishments (both parties) as well as their media proxies.
Their goal was to prevent my election, and failing that, to throw me out of office or sabotage my presidency, undercut my agenda in Congress, block my domestic reforms, and interfere with my foreign policy.
Here Trump forthrightly states that foreign policy was at the heart of the coup attempt. This was about Empire—the National Security State erected in the aftermath of the Cold War—versus the founding vision of a Constitutional Republic.
For nearly three years, they carried out a massive disinformation campaign and lawless persecution based on the monstrous lie that I was a traitor to my country.
Funny, that. The disinformation campaign was known from its inception to be a tissue of lies—beginning, really, with the FBI computer experts scornful debunking of the Alfa Bank fabrications. But Barr and Durham kept it all under wraps until well after Zhou was installed.
The Durham Report proves that the key figures involved knew from the start that the Russia Collusion conspiracy theory was a lie. The FBI launched their witch hunt without a scrap of legitimate evidence—and when they came upon exonerating information time after time, they covered it up and kept the hoax going forward.
...
At a critical moment when we should have been reducing tensions with Russia, the Russia Hoax stoked mass hysteria that helped drive Russia straight into the arms of China.
Ah, but we know now that that was, all along, a feature rather than a bug. The Deep State wanted to stoke mass hysteria against Russia. They had had their war plans in place since at least 2008.
Instead of having a better relationship with Russia as I worked to build, we now have a proxy war with Russia, fueled in part by the lingering fumes of Russiagate delirium. Ukraine has been utterly devastated. Untold numbers of people have been killed. And we could very well end up in World War III.
As the Twitter Files have proven, the Radical Left establishment also used the Russia Hoax to attack freedom of speech. They built a sprawling domestic censorship regime under the guise of combatting so-called "Russian disinformation"—which they quickly defined to include any content they did not like.
...
Perhaps most dangerous of all, the Russia Hoax normalized the weaponization of law enforcement against the Left's political enemies. The Radical Democrats and their media partners now cheer as Biden's DOJ demands the FBI investigate parents at school board meetings, deploys heavily armed teams to arrest pro-life activists, and pursues an all-out persecution of Joe Biden's leading opponent for the presidency.
These corrupted agencies have interfered in every election since 2016—and they are interfering in the 2024 election before our very eyes.
There must be a reckoning.
Admittedly, Trump doesn’t mention the continuing GOP complicity—McConnell And His GOP Senate Drones Are Silent On Trump Indictment, Again—a complicity that runs deep and goes back to the beginning in 2015. Still this is a remarkable political campaign document. A very effective response to those who would claim that Trump’s campaign is simply about his personal grievances. Nothing could be further from the truth, and Trump presents in this document the simple, unvarnished truth. There’s more, but it’s a great start.
Very much in the same spirit, John Daniel Davidson writes today:
DOJ Indictment Of Trump Is A Declaration Of War Against American Voters
It’s not about Trump. It’s about criminalizing dissent and punishing the millions who voted for him — and warning them not to do it again.
Davidson focuses on the concerted war on dissent from the Power Elite’s agenda, but key to that war is the Trumpian dissent from the Globalist Imperial agenda. Here are the introductory paragraphs—it’s a fine article:
On Tuesday, President Joe Biden’s Justice Department took the unprecedented step of indicting former President Donald Trump — Biden’s chief rival in the upcoming 2024 election — for repeatedly expressing his opinion that the last election was stolen, rigged, and unfair.
It’s an opinion millions of Americans share, and to which they are unquestionably entitled thanks to the First Amendment. That includes Trump, who has said repeatedly (and recently) that the 2020 election was stolen. He’ll probably keep saying it until his dying day, and he has every right to do so.
The idea that our Justice Department can indict someone, especially the sitting president’s main political rival, over speech that’s protected by the First Amendment is simply insane. It puts us firmly into banana republic territory, where tinpot dictators jail their political opponents ahead of election day to ensure their “reelection.”
Simply put, this indictment is nothing more than a declaration of war against American voters and their constitutional right to free speech. As Jonathan Turley noted on Twitter, “If you take a red pen to all of the material presumptively protected by the First Amendment, you can reduce much of the indictment to haiku.”
To the conservatives who urge us to move on from Trump I say, absent a truly compelling alternative candidate—I don’t see one—any concession to moving on runs the grave risk of allowing this revolution against our constitutional order to become water under the bridge that, itself, keeps moving on.
Indicting Trump "for repeatedly expressing his opinion that the last election was stolen, rigged, and unfair" puts the 2020 election and J6 front and center. I think the administration would have been better advised to leave Trump out of this. Now belatedly they are giving him a platform to make his case on election fraud, and even what actually happened on J6, or on the contrary restricting his right to defend himself which might prove even more damaging.
Great content, per usual high standards. Having done a bit of a deep dive on the JFK Assassination recently, it seems clear the Deep State was in full bloom by the early 60's, having been fueled from the CIA origins post WW2 and the McCarthy era lunacy. Similar to today's neocon anthem of Russia, Russia, Russia their mantra was Commie, Commie, Commie.
Eisenhower tried to warn in his farewell address as he left office:
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. “We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted.”
Truman who created the CIA in 1947, wrote (much too late) on Dec 22,1963 in a very carefully worded article in the Washington Post about the danger of the CIA taking over the government:
“I think it has become necessary to take another look at the purpose and operations of our Central Intelligence Agency—CIA . . . “For some time I have been disturbed by the way the CIA has been diverted from its original assignment. It has become an operational and at times a policy-making arm of the Government. This has led to trouble and may have compounded our difficulties in several explosive areas. We have grown up as a nation, respected for our free institutions and for our ability to maintain a free and open society. There is something about the way the CIA has been functioning that is casting a shadow over our historic position and I feel that we need to correct it.”
Basic research into the JFK murder is pregnant with details of a complex executive action operation. Trying to work on peace with the USSR, which he spoke clearly about in the Peace Speech delivered at American University on June 10, 1963 signed his death warrant five months later. (https://youtu.be/0fkKnfk4k40)
Trump disrupting the Hillary power parade was his sin, along with sniffing too close to the Ukraine golden goose, which clearly struck a big nerve.
The operation on Trump was equally complex running from Russia, Russia, Russia during and after the campaign into the Mueller farce. Sniffing in the general direction of Ukraine led to Impeachment 1 and the Covid rearrangement of election process and Jan 6th (Impeachment 2). Like the fruitless Mueller process, we now have a full frontal assault by DOJ and the ongoing promotion of Jan 6th as a critical event in our history.
Hopefully the trial will provide the opportunity for a fun root canal of the actions and inactions of the DOJ, state level election fraud, gov't directed social media censorship and the FBI election meddling of the Hunter laptop which was in their possession for the year prior. They knew it was a bombshell and worked actively to avoid it's detonation until post election.
Hopefully a new administration will revisit the Eisenhower and Truman warnings, along with the documented actions behind the removal of JFK and Trump, with an understanding that too much time has been lost and time is of the essence for saving our great land.
