This will be a bit of a mixtum gatherum of news stories. First, a couple of revealing tweets regarding what the war on Russia is really about—and which speak volumes about how the West is run for the benefit of the financial class without regard to economic realities. Yes, the pie in the sky objective is to break up Russia, but the most proximate goal for the financial class of the West is to loot Ukraine.
There are a number of angles here. One, of course, is control of Ukraine’s rich agricultural lands—a process that is well underway, with Western interests dominating that sector.
Another has to do with Ukraine’s rich lithium deposits. The West’s financial class still hopes to make a killing off lithium battery operated vehicles—an unrealistic solution to a nonexistent problem, forced upon an unwilling populace by government mandates demanded by the financial class. Ukraine’s rich lithium deposits are seen as a key for that objective. It’s a “Green War,” but the blood of those who die to further enrich the financial class still runs red. Each of these tweets has a brief embedded video which I can’t embed here, but follow the links:
Europe slowly admits that they need Ukraine’s lithium and hence Russia can’t win. Lithium is critical for the green agenda.

THE WEST WANTS UKRANIAN LITHIUM! “If Russia gets the Donbass and controls even more areas in the center of Ukraine, where there are better lithium deposits, then the situation for Europe will become worse, since Europe could get most of the minerals needed for the energy transition from Ukraine.”

We shift to politics, but we’ll do it via Russia—since we’ve been spending a lot of time lately talking about the huge gaslighting conspiracy by our Rulers to hide the truth about who actually governs America. You’ll recall that our Intel Community was quick to manufacture and publish hoax “assessments” to smear Trump. They’re not so quick with the serious assessments that don’t fit the war narrative. Like, if Putin has no intention of invading Europe, what are we doing in Ukraine? Freedom and democracy? The country we “support” (to its destruction) has canceled elections and persecutes religion. America is about gaslighting 24/7, but check this one out—because sometimes the truth slips out:

This week the NY Times just casually dropped that the official U.S. intelligence assessment has always been that Putin didn't want to expand the Ukraine conflict beyond Ukraine. But in public, Biden and other U.S officials have been pushing a domino theory that if we negotiated an end to the war Russia would invade Poland and beyond. Biden led off the State of the Union with that claim!
Now for politics. Harris polling came out with some interesting results, including that the Dem alt candidates do worse against Trump than Zhou. Also, that RFK definitely appears to hurt Dems the most—that’s how I read the results. Finally, it appears there’s some support for Vivek as VP. My view on the VP pick is that, obviously, Halley is unacceptable, and that DeSantis needs to stay in Florida for now. Rubio and Scott are both Swamp critters. Which leaves us with Vivek if we go with the numbers, unless Trump’s gut tells him that a lower rated figure could really pull in support if given a chance. YMMV. The poll results are pretty self explanatory, but if you follow the date stamps you’ll find lots more stuff:

Here’s a brief recommendation for a geopolitical read. It’s by Alastair Crooke, who simply outlines what he thinks the longterm Russo-Chinese strategy is. It’s where the Neocon scheming go us:
The West, Indubitably, Has Lost Russia, And Is Losing Eurasia Too...
Is not President Putin’s purpose in visiting North Korea and Vietnam now clear in the context of the Eurasian security architecture project?
Excerpt:
The West has ‘lost’ Russia much more profoundly than is understood.
President Putin – in his statement to the Foreign Ministry Board in wake of the G7 sword-rattling – detailed just how we had arrived at this pivotal juncture (of inevitable escalation). Putin indicated that the gravity of the situation demanded a ‘last chance’ offer to the West, one that Putin emphatically said was to be “No temporary ceasefire for Kiev to prepare a new offensive; nor a freezing the conflict – but rather, needed to be about the war’s final completion”.
It has been widely understood that the only credible way to end the Ukraine war would be a ‘peace’ agreement emerging through negotiation between Russia and the U.S.
This however is rooted in a familiar U.S.-centric vision – ‘Waiting on Washington …’.
Lavrov archly commented (in paraphrase) that if anyone imagines we are ‘waiting for Godot’, and ‘will run for it’, they are mistaken.
Moscow has something much more radical in mind – something that will shock the West.
Moscow (and China) are not simply waiting upon the whims of the West, but plan to invert completely the security architecture paradigm: To create an ‘Alt’ architecture for the ‘vast space’ of Eurasia, no less.
It is intended to exit the existing bloc zero-sum confrontation. A new confrontation is not envisaged; however the new architecture nevertheless is intended to force ‘external actors’ to curtail their hegemony across the continent.
In his Foreign Ministry address, Putin explicitly looked ahead to the collapse of the Euro-Atlantic security system and to a new architecture emerging: “The world will never be the same again”, he said.
What did he mean?
Lastly, for those who are interested in the more technical aspects of the NATO failure in Ukraine against Russian arms, I want to highly recommend this hour long conversation between Danny Davis and Matt Hoh. As is so often the case, the title doesn’t truly reflect the actual nature of the discussion. The discussion itself is highly animated and focuses on the deterioration of US electronic warfare in particular. If that interests you, you won’t regret the hour spent listening:
Danny Davis Mentioned that US commanders are not relieved for cause anymore, only sexual misconduct. And that Petraes actually messed up big time in his role in charge of the Iraqi police, but it was spun as a success. He hinted same issue with Mattis.
Thanks Mark! My world view just got changed again by your blog.
Vivek resume is swampy green slimy... went to all the "right" schools and worth 500 million before 30 on pharma racket. Damn good actor though. Right up there with Bogart and Tom Cruise.
I have bad news for you folks. It just gets worse from here. Empires do not reverse gear.
