The Economist/YouGov poll has come out with a quite interesting new survey on American attitudes toward the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Here are the results. The top panel breaks the results out according to standard demographic categories, while the bottom panel does so according to political tendencies.
The most obvious takeaway is that overall support for “the Israelis” is only at 35%—which, compared to the past, is a remarkably low level of support. Two additional notes: First, “about equal” support is at 25%, and that is no consolation to Anglo-Zionists. My guess is that as things go from bad to worse that support will also shift away from equal and away from “the Israelis.” Second, “about equal looks like the most consistent in percentage across the board, although it is highest among Blacks and Hispanics. That is also true for the “not sure” category, where Black respondents are easily at the highest level of all respondents—40%. Again, the disinclination to commit to Israel among such a core demographic for the Dem party is a flashing red light for the Jewish owners of the Dem brand. Black outright support for “the Israelis” is the lowest of any category except for the 18-29 age group, at 17%.
Almost as remarkable is that in only one demographic category does support for “the Israelis” rise above 50%—to 52%. That is among those 65+ years old. Basically, support for “the Israelis” can be accurately characterized from this data as heavily driven by old, White, males, who identify as conservative and overwhelmingly intend to vote for Trump. By contrast, outright support for “the Palestinians” is heavily young and liberal. Again, bad news for the Jewish owners of the Dem brand.
The skew is much more pronounced among GOPers than Dems—with a difference. Among GOPers support for “the Israelis” is at 63%. Among Dems the breakdown is more complex. Dem support for “the Palestinians” is at 26%, which easily dwarfs the 18% support for “the Israelis.” The rest split between “about equal” and “not sure.” Among both conservatives and liberals, the differences are more pronounced than the differences along the lines of party identification—but, again, with conservative support for “the Israelis” far more pronounced than support for “the Palestinians” among liberals.
The bottom line is that American support for the Zionist Project is wavering. That was probably inevitable, but the dramatic decline we see in polls during the past year are certainly accounted for by two factors. First, the fact that Americans are, for the first time, being subjected to the spectacle of Zionist genocide in real time—with the knowledge that America is complicit. Second, Americans can no longer ignore the reality that America is largely—not totally, the reality is always more complex—shaped by the agendas of Jewish Americans. That is especially true in foreign policy, where the Zionist sympathies of that portion of Jewish Americans is particularly intense, matching the enthusiasm for abortion.
These truths about America are becoming undeniable. How it all develops will depend greatly on events in the Middle East. Politicians will need to come to terms with these new, more complex realities, as the awareness of their constituents grow, along with the changing demographics of America.
Now, here is Megatron’s take on the poll results.
Support for Israel among US youth is at an all-time low, an entire anti-Zionist generation is coming on the scene
According to the latest Economist poll, 14% of 18-29 year olds support Israel and the massacre of children in Gaza.
As many as 33% support the Palestinians.
A whole new anti-Zionist generation is coming.
The survey shows that the mass control that the Jewish lobby had in the USA over the media, Hollywood, show business, etc., in the past few decades has borne fruit and the older generations strongly support them.
But this is not the case with the young generation and the future of the country.
More and more young people are becoming aware and raising their voices against the Jewish lobby that controls every sphere in the country and buys their politicians like a sack of potatoes, and they are publicly boasting about it through their AIPAC organization.
The more support politicians from both parties give them, the more revulsion they arouse in young people towards a nation that has committed the greatest genocide against children in human history.
The US is the most important center for the Israelis, through which they have a huge influence in the world.
This devastating statistic is far more worrying to them than the attack on Iran.
Why can’t the Israelis fight their wars with their own weapons & own $$$? Why does it always have to be U.S. weapons & U.S. taxpayer $$$?
Think that’s a fair question.
Wow! I'm a 70+ 'Republican' SWM, but I line up best w 18-29 yo female Dems on the war in the ME.
I'm totally out of sync with my age, race, sex, political demographic.
I wonder how many readers here fall into a similar boat?
