Looking Bigger All The Time

I want to briefly go back to my initial reaction to this Deep State hit on Zhou—that it is, in fact, a Deep State coup and that the motive behind it is the unprecedented, existential, crisis of the American Empire.

We all know that Donald Trump presented the biggest political challenge the ruling Oligarchy of the American Empire has faced since Richard Nixon. The very tag MAGA is a challenge to the notion of Empire as expounded by Karl Rove—we make the reality. MAGA is, by its very wording, a recognition that the ruling class, including the Neocon foreign policy establishment and the Deep State generally, have screwed up in a major way. America is no longer great. It’s time for We The People to do something about that situation, and Make America Great—Again.

We’re now seeing that the Ruling Class reaction to Trump, with its multiple attempted hits on Trump and its attempt under the Zhou regime to put all their policies on fast forward—transform American demographics, implement the Great Reset, subjugate Russia and China—have all backfired in catastrophic fashion. It’s been one disaster after another: Covid, the border, crime, energy, WW3. The only thing that has gone pretty much according to plan has been election manipulation.

But, the question I posed first thing this morning was: What was the trigger? The straw that broke the camel’s back. I still believe that the national security debacle is the key to this coordinated hit, which will initiate regime change.

I say it’s more accurate to talk about WW3, but I won’t quibble. Here’s Larry explaining that this is a Deep State hit:

Speaking of bizarre (and shifting gears), the Feds have found more classified documents that Joe Biden squirreled away for six years and counting. We are asked to believe that Biden’s attorneys, for no good reason, just decided to start searching through a closet at the Biden Penn Center –the Chinese funded center — and found some Top Secret docs. If I am Joe Biden and you are my attorney your job is to destroy those documents. There is no audit trail. But that is not what they did. They told the National Archives personnel. Those folks alerted the Department of Justice. This was in early November.

And in the ensuing weeks following that initial discovery, they find more; including a new batch this week. What the hell is going on? The decision to pack up those documents when Biden left office was not an accident due to carelessness. Biden’s staffers, starting with his Chief of Staff Ron Klain, not only handled those documents but knew why the classified material was being removed illegally from the White House. Those staffers will be in the trick box in the coming weeks. Get your popcorn. It will be quite a show.

Who thinks the National Archives were consulted but the Intel Community generally was not? Let’s be real. Larry gets it, and we all do, too. This is a setup. A richly deserved one.

But, getting to the heart of the issue—regret about WW3 in our NatSec establishment and other circles of the Ruling Class—Larry cites an article we noted last week, by MBD, as a sign that the dam of unquestioning support for WW3 was beginning to show signs of instability. Here’s what I see as the key in the passage that Larry quotes:

My friend and colleague Matthew Continetti writes that “securing America’s position and freedom’s future without direct intervention and for a rounding error in the federal budget is a strategic bargain. …

This view holds that for pennies on the dollar, the U.S. has been able to preserve a democracy threatened by an authoritarian regime, cripple a rival military, strengthen the NATO alliance, prevent Vladimir Putin from an inevitable invasion of NATO territory, and scare off Xi Jinping from ever messing with Taiwan. . . .

Except, none of this is quite true. ... And finally, no conflict in this blood-stained area of the globe is a mom-and-pop bingo game in which you can cash out your modest investments at any time; Vladimir Putin and Russia have a say in how this ends.

The US military is facing a recruiting crisis, deriving from the Woke policies of the Dems. It’s also now facing a crisis in weapons supply and preparedness, brought to crisis point by the Neocon’s WW3. Meanwhile, Russia is gaining momentum, flexing its muscles. I believe this is correct—Putin is preparing to put an end to the Ukraine stage of WW3. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t yet a price to be paid for what America inflicted on Ukraine and its people, much to the anger of Putin, who regarded Ukrainians as a “brother” Slavic nation. I have repeatedly in recent posts referenced Putin’s description of the historic dispatch of the Admiral Gorshkov cruiser on a long voyage, packed with hypersonic missiles. Putin described this mission as “momentous”. This morning The Saker is quoting Russia’s world class foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov:

If the West continues to pump the Ukraine full of weaponry out of impotent rage, or a desire to exacerbate the situation…then that means our geographical tasks will move even further from the current line.

Neither Putin nor Lavrov are given to hyperbole or hysteria. I call that a warning—or a threat, if you prefer. I’m sure it was understood as such in the Deep State, where it’s also understood that we’ve largely run out of alternatives. This realization is quite possibly the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Now, turning to DC politics.

If you thought that Zhou wasn’t in charge of his regime, and Kama Sutra gets into the Oval Office, the leash she’ll be on will be so short it will look as if Zhou was running wild. Any new regime is an opportunity, a mandate even, to clean house—but I can’t imagine Kama Sutra, with her dismal record of chronic mismanagement, will have virtually any say at all in the shape of the new regime.

We need to watch personnel moves closely. Since this is a Ruling Class coup, the Republican establishment will be involved. Unless they’re hopelessly incompetent—which we’re about to find out—they will have a long, long list of Zhou’s people who have to go. The Deep State should have their own list. We have, in past posts, highlighted what appear to be conflicts of vision between DoD and the Neocons. If I’m correct, we should see a house cleaning of the NatSec team—Sullivan, Blinken, Nuland, and others. But Republicans should have a much longer list, starting with Mayorkas. We could see some drastic policy shifts. If I’m right. The big question is what role Trump’s House will play. Conservatives have no reason to do the corrupt Uniparty establishment any favors. To what extent will the House play along with any “national unity and reconciliation” wheeze the DC elites try to gaslight the country with? Or will they pursue their investigations—with vengeance in mind.

This is a national crisis—make no mistake about that. The question is, How far will the house cleaning and policy shifts go?

So, now I’m way out on a limb. Let’s see how this coup progresses.
