I don’t know whether it’s trending on Twitter, but Regime Change has definitely become a thing—in the collective West. And it pays well, for some:
Be a stand up guy—provide for your family and friends!
Coming to a country near you. Count on that.
Here’s a teaser for some of the big picture stuff I referred to. The full Youtube video covers more, but this brief out-take gets to the core—which is that we may be in the end game of the globalist power play that began decades ago. I would want to make a few distinctions. Iraq (post 9/11) was when the Neocon takeover went truly Primetime, but their were rehearsals that were not insiginificant—like, Serbia. Do not underestimate the significance of Serbia for everything that has followed. Serbia established the American Empire’s Rules-Based Order as putatively world dominant. It was a warning shot across the bow of crippled post-Soviet Russia, and one that Putin fully understood. In that sense it was a full dress rehearsal.
Here’s a link to the Youtube: Lead-Lag Live: The Iraq War Started This Not Covid With Tom Luongo. It’s actually only 41 minutes long, so it’s more concise than many of the podcasts out there. It’s worth a listen. In addition to the usual Davos v. The Fed stuff, he gets into predictions, such as that Saudi Arabia and Iran will “bury the hatchet”—and that is clearly a Russian diplomatic project, along with detaching Turkey from NATO.
Andrei Martyanov offers some of the pithier quotes from Doug Macgregor’s article about how the US is going to regret this war on Russia. Martyanov prefaces the quote with this observation:
You cannot cure terminal illness, the only thing possible is a palliative therapy, meaning shooting copious amounts of hard drugs into the patient to relieve pain and suffering before death. I am, in general, not very optimistic about Europe and Larry's posting yesterday the "travel report" from Phil Giraldi reinforced my position. The crisis is systemic and affects every single facet of modern combined West no matter what actions completely cornered Western "elites" take to save themselves.
An important sympton of that terminal illness, I would say, is belief in Neocon fairy tales, such as that the collective West didn’t have to worry about blowback from the war on Russia because Russia would be brought to its knees in a week or two—sanctions Shock and Awe. Remember the triumphalist Zhou meme? “The ruble is rubble.” That was supposed to guarantee Zhou 2.0 and the Great Reset, in no particular order. Problem: Putin had been preparing for this eventuality from as far back as, arguably, 2005. That leads into Macgregor:
... No one in the White House, the Senate, or the House consciously set out to turn the proxy Ukrainian war with Moscow into a contest of “competitive societal collapse” between Russia and NATO. But here we are. No one imagined that the Biden administration and the bipartisan war party would drive Americans and Europeans into a political, military, and economic valley of death, from which there is no easy escape. Yet that is precisely what is happening.
Will Schryver puts it very directly, with support from Milley. Note that they both refer to “world order”, but Schryver is explicity about what world order is at risk. It’s not the world order governed by international law, as built up over centuries. It’s the new Rules-Based Order as formulated and enforced by the American Empire. Milley understands that, and that’s why he says the defeat of the collective West—led by the American Empire—will collapse the Rules-Based Order:
As I've argued since January. This war is existential. Either the empire triumphs and assimilates Russia into the "rules-based international order" or Russia triumphs, retains its sovereignty, and formally restores a multipolar regime to the planet.

US JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF MARK MILLEY: - IF UKRAINE FALLS, THE CURRENT WORLD ORDER WILL COLLAPSE.
Go back to Andrei Martyanov. He explains signs that the proxy war is coming apart, and with it NATO. Zelensky is now denying that Ukraine had anything to do with bombing the Kerch Bridge. Russian has sent out a clear warning that NATO resources in international air/sea space that are participating in the war may soon become targets:
Well, Russia is growing stronger every day and no volume of tactical minutiae can hide anymore the fact of West's collapse and it being written off. Even this little detail tells us something:
[Zelensky denies bombing Kerch Bridge]
He is right, in a larger sense, because it was ordered by British and this is the extent of modern British military "power"--sabotage, false flags, propaganda and things of this nature. Saying that, I do not offer my personal opinion--it is a recurring theme in Russian media based on high-positioned sources in Russian government that Crimean Bridge sabotage had all hallmarks of British involvement. In the same time--what's new? Zelensky is panicking. So, when London cries that:
[An SU-27 suffered a glitch and fired a missile near a UK plane over the Black Sea.]
They should remember that the next time some S-400 AD complex in Crimea may have also some technical malfunction and some missiles may accidentally shoot down RAF planes "patrolling" over the Black Sea, which is about 1,700 miles from Albion.
What are these people thinking?
The bottom line. The road has been bumpy in some respects, but Russia is committed and behind Putin. Slow but sure progress has been made and preparations are now under way for a much bigger offensive push. Ukraine knows this. The collective West knows this and is powerless to forestall this. Russia will almost certainly be in a position—having won the sanctions war—to extract massive concessions from a collective West that is in existential disarray, with a ruling class at war with the subject class. All this is reflected in the growing Russian confidence and Western panic that we see every day.

Interesting comment and it ties into a conversation I had back in late summer 2008 with my wife's cousin from Greece as our election season was in full steam. Her cousin was part of the Greek Diplomatic corp. and was a former ambassador to the Ukraine for the Greek government. He also did three stints here in North America, as Greece's ambassador to Canada, the ICAO in Montreal and a final posting in L.A. before he retired. At the time of our discussion the incursion into Georgia was taking place and I asked him if this would have any impact on our election. He said not likely and confided to me that it was his opinion Russia was furious with the Clinton administration for having bombed the Serbs on behalf of Islam during the Balkans war. He felt the Democrats were the stumbling block to more cordial relations between USA and Russia. As Serbia is a Slavic country and considered to be a Russian ally, as such they were convinced they needed to act in their own interests in the region. In another telling comment he suggested our bureaucrats/ambassador corp were the laughing stock in the world. Being mostly partisans appointed and with little diplomatic training were not respected and he suggested they created many more problems than they ever solved and everything was done for self-interest. Very interesting guy with great stories to tell.
