Ireland and Norway have recognized the Palestinian state. Spain is considering doing so, and has basically embargoed any vessels from using Spanish ports if those vessels have engaged in trafficking munitions to Israel. In addition, France and Norway have said that they will arrest Israeli war criminals (Netanyahu and Galant) if they fall within their jurisdictions. Israel has responded with the usual over the top rhetoric:

"Today, Ireland, Norway and Spain are announcing that we recognise the state of Palestine."
Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris says this is a "historic day for Palestine".

BREAKING:
 Israel threatens Ireland and Norway
Israeli Foreign Minister:
"Today I am sending a strong message to Ireland and Norway that Israel will not silently ignore this issue (by announcing recognition of a Palestinian state).
I have just ordered the Israeli ambassadors from Dublin and Oslo to be returned to Israel for urgent consultations in Jerusalem.
The hasty move by both countries will have other serious consequences. If Spain follows through on its intention to recognize a Palestinian state, a similar step will be taken against it."

Serious consequences? What serious consequences could Israel possibly cause for these distant countries—distant from Israel and the Middle East? Ah, that’s the point. Israel can’t cause serious consequences for those countries, but Israel has an Uncle that it can order to cause serious consequences. Israel is putting the rest of the world on notice that it can order the United States, which Israel controls through The Israel Lobby, to inflict serious consequences on countries that irritate Israel. That was also the meaning of the threatening letter that Cotton and Cruz and some other knuckleheads sent to the ICC. That’s also the message from this twit:
War Monitor @WarMonitors
Kann: “Israel intends to isolate the diplomats of the countries that recognized a Palestinian state and actually "boycott" them: not to summon them to briefings, not to give them updates and delay their requests. Additional steps are currently being considered”

I’m told Norway, Spain & Ireland will make a coordinated announcement announcing a joint move to recognise Palestine on 1967 borders. All will formally recognise on May 28 once internal processes are done. Slovenia will follow on June 13. Belgium and France also in play.

All of these countries are NATO members, by the way. Israel is letting them know that Israel’s interests come before NATO interests, and has so informed the US.
But things are changing. Americans are learning that their country is controlled by a foreign power—one that doesn’t have American interests at heart and is dictating policies to our government that are isolating America internationally:

AIPAC HAS TOO MUCH CONTROL OVER OUR GOVT
If China or Russia, or Iran funded almost EVERY member of Congress, people would be freaking out.
Good news—Americans in KY weren’t gaslighted:
Thomas Massie @RepThomasMassie
AIPAC claims to have spent over $400,000 against me this election cycle. These were the results tonight:

But this is the effect that The Israel Lobby’s war on the First Amendment is having on American civil society—on top of an already struggling civil society under siege from the Woke Left. Israel is dictating foreign policy as well as the terms of debate within America. It’s iron grip, through The Lobby, is slipping but is still powerful:
Johnny miller @johnnyjmils
There has been a complete breakdown of civil society’s ability to question government policy in the west. The journalists are all scared of losing their jobs. The academics are all scared of losing their jobs. There is no civil society. Only incompetent politicians. And the only journalists and academics who get promoted are the ones who promote the same incompetent policies. It’s a circle of incompetence.

I disagree on one point. The biggest issue is not competence or the lack thereof—it’s money, and a privileged status for The Israel Lobby. It should be required to register as a foreign agent under FARA.
Germany has now indicated that they will cooperate with an ICC arrest warrant.
