Trump has joined TikTok. Hmmm. He got his $100 million from Sheldon Adelson’s widow just the other day, now joins the Israeli Lobby’s bête noire? What other surprises are in store? No place for Nikki after all? Via Megatron:
Trump has joined TikTok despite the Republicans did their best to ban it at the request of Jewish lobby organizations
Here is his first post:
For the first time after the verdict, Trump will appear tonight at the UFC fight between lightweight champion Islam Makhechev and the fourth-ranked Dustin Poirier.

Trump loves symbolism. He’s a fighter, right? Is he pivoting to the Dem’s loose base voters?
Last night before turning in CNN tweeted that some Brit military type was saying, Bad news from the Red Sea. They don’t say that when the Houthis hit some commercial ship. Then the Houthis announced:

Yemeni Houthis official statment today:
Targeting of the USS EISENHOWER aircraft carrier for the second time
Targeting of a US DESTROYER in the Red Sea,
Four operations which targeted ships in the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, and Arabian Sea

As a commenter to that tweet put it:
Lanceload @Lanceloadin
It would be truly amazing if the Houthis had managed to do more that scratch the paintwork of any US warships with the fairly basic missiles they have in their arsenal!
Hitting a passing tanker or cargo ship is one thing - hitting a warship is a whole other level of difficult.
Nevertheless - the Houthis seem to be keeping the Americans on their toes - and they are certainly costing them a small fortune - and who knows - maybe they will get lucky one of these days and actually hit and damage a US warship - maybe even sink one!

Of course, there’s always the possibility that the Houthis have received an upgrade on their arsenal. A little help from their friends, and that may also be the case with Hezbollah.
Now this morning:
BREAKING:
The aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower has sailed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, following announcement of successful hits by Yemeni forces. This is an unexpected and major move, despite the US Army claiming that there was no attack.
A commenter notes:
JuliusXXVI @JuliusXXVI
There is no US naval base in Jeddah, nor does it host any reloadable munitions. The only reason it would go there is because it is the nearest port, and for emergency repairs. The carrier should be able to stay at sea for many months, not needing to go to small local ports.

And another, re Houthi capabilities:

Want to know what the Houthis did to the US Navy's aircraft carrier, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower? I explain what's going on and why the Houthi's anti-ballistic missile ship capabilities should not be laughed at (and why China is studying Houthi methods closely).

This is very big news.
The leader of the French Left—I’m not sure what that means, but what he says should be pondered. It’s a trenchant critique of the Anglo-Zionist Empire and, in light of Red Sea events, a war with China seems like a really bad idea:
Arnaud Bertrand @RnaudBertrand
Absolutely extraordinary speech by @JLMelenchon, the leader of the French left, on how the US "want war" with China.
Here is it in full:
"The center of the world, at this hour when the most terrible of wars is being prepared, is not on European soil. It is over there between the coasts of the Americas and the coasts of Asia. This was reiterated yesterday at an international conference held in Singapore, where the Americans repeated that, whatever happens in Europe or the Middle East, their priority is in the Asia-Pacific zone, which they call the Indo-Pacific so that the enemy is better identified. For them, it is China. They want war because 50% of the world's wealth is produced there.
More than 50% of the world's population is there. The United States of America is in competition with China, but not ideologically. Who initiated the first agreements with China to outsource factories if not the United States of America themselves? They cannot tell us that it is a fight for freedom against I don't know what. All of this is nonsense. It's just because China is becoming the world's leading power, and from there, gradually, dollars will no longer be used as much as before to trade goods.
Thus, the empire is hit at its core. Its core is its currency, which it can print as much as it wants because it is not bound by any of the rules that apply to all other nations. They can print as much as they want, as long as you need it for your exchanges, to buy raw materials, to buy oil, to buy minerals, etc., etc. And the day it stops, that is, the day nations agree among themselves to pay in their currency, it's over, and the empire collapses.
Therefore, they engage in competition that is not free and completely distorted, supported by weapons. That is their policy. And meanwhile, the foolish Europeans are there saying, "Ah, of course, we agree with freedom. Ah, of course, that is an excellent program." When this program by the North Americans, in truth, also involves robbing Europe, as has already begun.
That is where the greatest threat of war lies because it would be a total war, as weapons there do not have the same range, the same significance as elsewhere. As in Europe, notably atomic weapons. Remember what I am telling you because you will pay a little more attention to it as you hear more about it. And we, the French, are concerned because we are present in this zone through Polynesia, through the territory of New Caledonia Kanaki, through our presence in Reunion in the Indian Ocean.
Therefore, the French have something to say, and in particular this: we do not want a war with China. And we will oppose by all diplomatic means to prevent it from happening."
Rules Based Order. On life support?

Divide-and-rule does not work when targeting several adversaries at the same time:
- Numerous high-level Americans confirm the war objective in Ukraine is to knock out Russia as a strategic rival, so US focus and resources can be directed toward defeating China.
