UPDATED: How Bad Will BidenGate Get?
OK, I freely admit that's not a very clever moniker for the Biden scandal. If you've got a better one, let me know. And don't try LaptopGate. That's totally lame. And it has to be family friendly.
Anyway, my guess is that this will get VERY bad. A selection of titles from TGP will give you the idea of how bad it is already--well before the Big Drop date. Most of these titles work off a Steve Bannon interview, but Bannon's statements appear to be corroborated by the NYPost, which is so far leading the charge.
According to the blog and Bannon--and confirmed by the NYPost--the 25K WORTH OF IMAGES portrays "a drug-addled, depraved lifestyle." I'll bet they do!
Then there's this:
That's confirmed by CBS:
CBS's Ed O'Keefe on Face The Nation: "[Joe Biden] will not be seen again after today until Thursday night." REMINDER: Joe Biden and his campaign have not disputed the authenticity of the bombshell emails which detail the extensive corruption of the Biden family.
Now, they say the retreat to the basement is all about debate prep. Me neither. But what kind of damage control is this? Looks like more self inflicted damage to me, but that's what you end up doing when you're jammed up by the truth.
How wild will it all get? This wild:
Meanwhile, in an interview with The Revolver , Bannon promised that there's much more to come. Can we bear it? Oh, what the hell ...
Revolver: Is there any reason to expect that the contents of the hard drive will be revealed before the election? If yes, will people actually care enough for it to substantially affect the outcome?
Mr. Bannon: The Bidens are about to be hit with multiple stories from multiple media sources based off evidence beyond the hard drive. Fox and Peter Schweitzer have already started but bigger more mainstream companies are going to weigh in. We already have set in motion the various apparatuses that will release everything.
Revolver: What are your thoughts on the efforts to discredit the hard drive as “Russian disinformation?” Is there any evidence this is Russian disinformation at all? At any rate, what matters is not whether Biden-supporting media calls it “disinformation” — what matters is whether it’s true. Has the Biden camp explicitly denied the factual accusations pertaining to the hard drives?
Mr. Bannon: Rupert Murdoch’s team at the NY Post is as sophisticated and tough as there is in all media. They had the metadata and they signed off to go forward. The Russia excuse — and it is an excuse — collapsed when Fox verified the information with someone on the email chain. The Biden campaign has yet to say these emails or photos are not real. The reason? Hunter’s lawyer sent emails trying to recover the hard drive. These are real — the Bidens know they are real — and they are going to have to deal with that reality.
Finally, Howie Carr has an article, behind an adblocker, that's a real must read Fear and loathing in the Biden Crime Family . It's totally devastating and shows--for anyone with half a brain--that Hunter was nothing but the bagman for "The Big Guy." The decades long influence peddling was Joe Biden's baby.
A particularly fascinating portion reveals how the Biden campaign attempted to innoculate Biden from his son. Good luck with that! But they tried:
Dementia Joe’s keepers have always understood that Hunter was capable of getting Pop into this kind of a jam. That’s how far gone Hunter Biden is.
Which is why last year they commissioned one of their Democrat stenographers with a press pass to try to inoculate the campaign. The Bidens ordered up a sob story about Hunter in one of their party organs called The New Yorker .
At the beginning, the obsequious scribe engaged in that Democrat tradition of projection, accusing the Republicans of everything he was up to, “promoting, without evidence, the dubious narrative that Biden used the office of the Vice-President to advance and protect his son’s interests.”
Dubious? Again, Biden hasn’t denied anything. Without evidence? Ditto. And as we know now, it’s not just his son’s interests “Pop” is protecting — Hunter told his own kid he’s kicking up half to the old man.
But that's just scratching the surface of an incredibly devastating article.
The Dems may have thought that "pee tape" hoax was funny at the time. Who'll laugh last now?
UPDATE: Very clever: Pardon Joe Biden Now! I suppose the right way to go about it would be to offer him a pardon. If he turns it down, well, he's open for prosecution.
