These are rocket attacks, as nearly as I can tell from the reports—not ballistic missile attacks. Artillery rockets of this sort aren’t terribly sophisticated, so this means that Hezbollah continues to hold back its large numbers of more advanced missiles. Reports are that Israeli military bases have been targeted and that the Iron Dome system is once again proving ineffective—or depleted. The primary target is said to have been the new headquarters of the 146th Division in Ga'aton in northern occupied Palestine. There are so far no indications that this is part of any Iranian response to Israeli assassinations.
Meanwhile, the Abe Lincoln is being directed to the eastern Mediterranean on an expedited basis. Interestingly the Abe is accompanied by a five ship escort, compared to the three ship escort assigned to the Teddy. Presumably this means that the extra ships are intended to prevent running out of anti-drone and anti-missile munitions.
In tonight's massive attack on Israel, Hezbollah used the Russian Katyusha rocket launcher, which Iron Dome failed to intercept almost any of the missiles.

That's serious reinforcements, seems like the Americans are getting ready for an all-out war in the region.

USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) CSG Will arrive in 10-15 days while the USS Georgia (SSGN 729) is already in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
It certainly looks like things could be heating up.
I pray that this is not the spark that sets alight a global conflagration.
Thank you, Mark, for the timely, detailed report.
I appreciate the information about the ships deployed.
I pray that the US will not engage in war.
