Good Reads, Views: Surber On Zhou And The Bus; Macgregor On Black Sea War Gaming--What's The Thinking?
You can regard Don Surber’s substack today as, to some extent, counterpoint to Jesse Waters’ views that I discussed yesterday. Or, you could regard these two takes as complementary—they both stress the collusive, coordinated aspect of the new campaign to get Zhou out. Here’s the gist of what Surber is getting at:
Why are they suddenly saying Biden is too old to run for a second term?
The mugshot didn’t work.
There. That is the column. It is simple as that. Panic set in and our overlords will sacrifice Biden by throwing him under the Bus of Baal. They must feed the monster to keep President Trump from winning a third consecutive presidential election.
This week, the media in unison declared Joe Biden is too old to be president. Odd that they discovered this now because he has been a doddering old fool since suffering his aneurisms (plural) 35 years ago.
…
The public’s overwhelming approval of Trump’s defiance in that mugshot signaled that the trials likely will backfire as well. We may never see any of the four trials scheduled for Trump because the elitists see the trainwreck a-coming, regardless of an acquittal or a conviction.
Read it all. What’s clear is that there’s a massive amount of collusion and coordination ongoing involving all members of the Ruling Class. None of this has to do with a sudden realization that Zhou is old and senile, or that he’s a crook. It’s because the Ruling Class believes it’s facing something like an existential crisis, but also believes that the threat of impeachment can be turned to their advantage. By using the threat of impeachment to force Zhou’s resignation they can enable a cover up, in which the MSM will happily participate, by shutting down all revelations of the Ruling Class and Deep State corruption that would otherwise come to public attention.
I haven’t provided a video of Doug Macgregor for quite a while, but this one (below) is well worth 25 minutes or so of your time. As you’ll see from the title of the video, which features Judge Napolitano with Macgregor, the main subject is the planned NATO Black Sea war games, in which the US will participate. Now, the US doesn’t have any naval ships in the Black Sea—Turkey has not allowed any new warships to enter the Black Sea since the Special Military Operation began. What I understand is that Turkish, Romanian, UK, and French naval assets will participate—the Turkish contingent would be by far the largest. Presumably the US participation will be in the air.
The background to these war “games” that they discuss is this. The US and NATO know that Ukraine is losing, and losing badly. The collective West is desperate to avoid outright defeat by strong arming the Russians into accepting a freeze. The argument is that they think they can do that by escalating, by convincing the Russians that the West is crazy enough to risk outright war with Russia. Nothing of that sort has worked so far, so a further escalation is now in the works. Thus, it is rumored that, as part of these “games,” NATO will attempt to escort arms shipments into Odessa. For my part, I’m cautiously skeptical—but what do I know?
Macgregor is rightly alarmed at these rumors. He also blames Putin for allowing things to get to this point. As we all know, Macgregor has been predicting a huge Russian “big arrow” offensive from pretty much the beginning. He wants Putin to put an end to this conflict quickly, and he maintains that Russian generals have also been urging this course of action on Putin, who has resisted. The danger, as Macgregor sees it, is that the West now regards Putin as “soft” and susceptible to intimidation—to cautious to “pull the trigger.”
Again, I’m cautiously skeptical. The West knows Ukraine is losing catastrophically, and they know the Russians know this, too. The West knows that there’s no benefit to Russia in a “frozen conflict,” and they know the Russians also know that. I’m inclined to regard this as a bluff, rather than intimidation—especially because Macgregor himself asserts that there is no way for a naval force to come out ahead by sailing within range of Russia’s massive land based and airborne strike capabilities. But, what do I know? See what you think.
War Games in the Black Sea - Now What? w/ Col Doug Macgregor
I finally finished the video.
Interesting they think the West sees Putin as soft since he has been restrained in Russia’s response.
My view is Putin has maneuvered the West through a bunch of small actions, into a very advantageous position for Russia.
- low Russian casualties
- high Ukraine casualties
- industrial war Russia has huge advantages in
- economic war Russia is winning and improving each day
- political war Russia is also winning with the Brics
- de-dollarization is spreading
Time is on Russias side.
