The Globalist West may be panicking for real in the wake of the BoJo no-confidence vote—a vote which he survived, but from which he emerged seriously damaged. I’m including Alexander Mercouris’ explanation of how this went down, because UK parliamentary politics are so complicated. In essence, Mercouris is saying that to survive convincingly BoJo could only afford to lose x-number of votes, even if he technically wins.
The reason is because a PM has a certain amount of support more or less baked in—MPs who are salaried members of government won’t vote against the PM unless they’re prepared to resign immediately. That gives the PM at least 100 votes going into the vote. As it turned out, however, BoJo lost x+y-number of votes, making him—in Mercouris’ opinion—toast. Mercouris’ predication had been that BoJo could not afford to lost more than 133 votes—to lose more would leave him “mortally wounded.” In the event, there were 148 votes of no confidence. This morning “Everyone” is saying that BoJo’s premiership is “unviable.”
But it gets much worse. Mercouris maintains that, because of the complicated nature of Conservative leadership elections, even if BoJo were to resign as party leader tomorrow—which won’t happen—a new leader wouldn’t be elected until at least August. This means that the UK, which has been one of the strongest supporters of the war against Russia and has helped muscle Zelensky into an intransigent position, will be functionally rudderless. All this with the war effort basically a shambles and the economy a mess.
It’s necessary to understand that the sanctions war against Russia was supposed to bring Russia to its knees in short order, before Western economies could be damaged, and force regime change in Russia. The reverse is the new reality. Russia is mostly unharmed and has gained important political and economic support from major economies outside the West. Meanwhile, Western nations find themselves in the laughable position of seeking ways to evade the sanctions that they themselves put into place, while caving to Russia’s demand for payment in rubles—part of the new financial order that Putin is constructing. On the military front, while the war is dragging on, it appears that Russia is methodically achieving its goals while cautiously seeking to minimize casualties. Putin is riding high in public support in Russia.
Meanwhile, says Mercouris—and he cites Turkey’s Erdogan in support of his own views—major Western governments are looking very shaky. It’s beginning to look like a series of dominoes may start falling. Specifically, Mercouris suggests that Macron in France may lose his parliamentary majority in the next round of elections. Germany’s government, which was never strong, looks ready to collapse in particularly messy fashion. Italy’s government is also in trouble. The spectacle, says Erdogan—who is playing his own game—is of chickens running about sans heads.
While I don’t exactly disagree with the conclusion of the video—which blames BoJo’s misguided support for the Neocon war on Russia for his downfall—I would argue that the true cause for this disarray is deeper, just as the war against Russia has deeper roots in the Globalist War against Western Civilization. Putin is absolutely right about that. The subservience of the Liberal West to a fundamentally anti-Human ideology is what has led to this.
Here’s the video. It’s only about 24 minutes long, and moves along well. I think readers will find it fascinating.
The US system is non-parliamentary, of course, but is just as shaky. Three good reads which suggest the possibility of real change here in America:

I for one, certainly hope that what’s coming will max the political Richter Scale!
I am sick to death of these bungling idiots ,who consider themselves soooo much smarter than everyone else, running around as if they actually know what they are doing.
It is my sincere hope that their arrogant and condescending manner along with
the Keystone Cops planning method of which they are so fond, comes back and bites them on their collective asses!
I wanted to "circle back" on that local county election in GA after I had time to look more at the numbers. It was already startling that the results we so different between the machine count and the hand recount, but after putting them into Excel and looking at them from another perspective I'm finding that out of the 15,449 votes in the recount (12,639 by machine), the errors are worse if you look at it as how many "wrong" votes in total were tallied.
Alexander - was shorted 348 votes
Spears - was shorted 3,616 votes
Orson - received 1303 extra votes
So in reality, there were ~5300 votes (I added the small number of absentee also) out of 15,449 that were miscounted by the machines. Now we know what the supposedly insane dems are going full speed ahead with their destroy the USA policies.
By the way, Luongo has a great piece on the latest efforts to wreck not only energy extraction, but also refining. I guess to nudge us all to get wind up cars...
