Fauci's Key Science Flaws
I was considering titling this post “Fauci’s Key Policy Flaws,” but I wanted to draw attention to the fact that Fauci’s flawed policies arise directly—assuming sincerity on his part—from flawed appeals to science. The appeal to the cult of science as a political narrative of the ruling class to marginalize dissent has been and remains a key component of the Covid Regime. The vilification of safe, effective, and inexpensive medications in the name of “science” has been a key to restricting early treatment of Covid sufferers.
In a trenchant article two eminent medical scientists discuss some of the other science mistakes that have been key components of the disastrous Covid Regime. Fauci got major epidemiology and public health questions wrong. Reality and scientific studies have now caught up with him.
Here are the key issues:
Natural immunity. By pushing vaccine mandates, Dr. Fauci ignores naturally acquired immunity among the COVID-recovered, of which there are more than 45 million in the United States. Mounting evidence indicates that natural immunity is stronger and longer lasting than vaccine-induced immunity.
We have known about natural immunity from disease at least since the Athenian Plague in 430 BC.
Protecting the elderly. ... public health scientists have presented many concrete suggestions that would have helped, had Fauci and other officials not ignored them.
School closures. Schools are major transmission points for influenza, but not for COVID.
Masks. ... masks are either of zero or limited benefit.
Contact tracing. For some infectious diseases, such as Ebola and syphilis, contact tracing is critically important. For a commonly circulating viral infection such as COVID, it was a hopeless waste of valuable public health resources that did not stop the disease.
Collateral public health damage. A fundamental public health principle is that health is multidimensional; the control of a single infectious disease is not synonymous with health. As an immunologist, Dr. Fauci failed to properly consider and weigh the disastrous effects lockdowns would have on cancer detection and treatment, cardiovascular disease outcomes, diabetes care, childhood vaccination rates, mental health and opioid overdoses, to name a few. Americans will live with—and die from—this collateral damage for many years to come.
In private conversations, most of our scientific colleagues agree with us on these points. While a few have spoken up, why are not more doing so? Well, some tried but failed. Others kept silent when they saw colleagues slandered and smeared in the media or censored by Big Tech.

Fauci, our government health experts, and the medical establishment put the American people through hell these past months. Frightened people went to emergency rooms for treatment and were sent home with no advice or direction except don't come back until you're struggling to breathe, and your lips turn blue. Left alone, these sick, terrified people entered the system, unable to see a loved one or friend. Many died alone.
Suddenly we’re inundated with advice.
Stop the Spread.
Lockdowns – let’s lock you down. Close the schools. Close the churches.
Don't touch your mail. Wash your hands. Wash delivered goods. Sanitize everything. Wear a mask. Don't wear a mask. Cloth masks work. Cloth masks don't work. Medical masks best. Oh. wait, cloth is good again.
Watch the news. Mass casualties. Nursing and care homes devastated. Bodies wheeled out. Waiting ambulances. Keep your distance. Stop the spread. Distance learning.
Every day count new cases. Count the bodies. Never lose count.
Vilify a president. Vilify a safe drug he suggests.
Open restaurants. Wear mask between bites.
Arrest people who won't obey.
Hallelujah! A vaccine. No, wait, three vaccines. Or was it four?
Keep on counting new cases.
Masks, don't forget the masks. Social Distance.
Uh, oh. Spike protein doesn't stay put. Uh, oh. Vaccines leaky. Let's do boosters. Let's investigate. What's this? A bat cave? A bat lady? Daszak. EcoHealth Alliance. $15.2 Million? $3.74 Million for Understanding Bat Corona Virus Emergence. Naw, couldn't be our own NIH paying for gain of function research. Could it?
All through these months they've lied to us about ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and zinc and quercetin and melatonin and Vitamin D3, and even mouthwashes and antihistamine efficacy – all to herd/force us toward vaccine passports.
Oh, he's sincere alright. Sincere in his objectives.
There is no doubt that the restriction on hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin early/immediately after infection has killed many people. Even if we give them a pass for the first few months of the unknown -- they knew by April 2020 that these drugs could save most people from getting so sick they required hospitalization. Everyone without their head in the sand knew by early 2021.
So Fauci purposely made the decision to deny treatment.
They (pharmacists and corporations) cut off the prescriptions those in the know could obtain by Sept 2021. (I got in just under the wire as did my neighbor who credits it with lessening significantly his bout of covid.)
But still today, millions of people have no access to these medicines by direction of the US Government.
And these medicines should work for the vaccinated as well, who also are getting sick and hospitalized.
