Just overnight the rhetoric of escalation has become rather heated. To set the stage, Larry Johnson reminds us:
MORE ON TACTICAL NUKE EXERCISES AND RUSSIAN ESCALATORY OPTIONS
The current Russian exercise did not spring out of a black hole nor was it hastily conjured up in a period of a week or two. The planning for this exercise started months ago, and it appears that Russia had it on the shelf ready to go when circumstances dictated. As a result of belligerent, hostile threats by France and the U.K. regarding deploying troops to Ukraine and beefing up Ukraine’s weapons supply with more sophisticated weapons, Russia launched a comprehensive diplomatic and military response three weeks ago. Foreign Minister Lavrov summoned the British and French Ambassadors to the Russian Foreign Ministry for a verbal dressing down. They were warned in stark terms that Russia would respond with all necessary force if such actions occur.
So, the exercises were a warning that the use of tactical nukes by Russia was on the table. Further, part of the warning to Britain and France was that Russia could strike at targets in those countries.
Next up, the Poles weigh in, because, well, just because. They did so via Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski. Sikorski has deep roots in the Anglo-Zionist Empire. He held British citizenship during the years 1987-2006 and only renounced that citizenship when he was confirmed as Polish Minister of Defense—a bird in the hand, and all that jazz. During his Oxford years he belonged to elite clubs and hobnobbed with the likes of Dave Cameron and Boris Johnson. He has a thing for celebrity women, but is known as Mr. Anne Applebaum. In sum, you don’t get much more Anglo-Zionist than that, for a boy born in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The world can become a much smaller place if you know how to ingratiate yourself with the right people.
US may strike Russian positions in Ukraine if nuclear weapons are used – Radosław Sikorski
"The Americans have told the Russians that if you explode a nuke, even if it doesn’t kill anybody, we will hit all your targets [positions] in Ukraine with conventional weapons, we’ll destroy all of them."
Dima Medvedev was quick off the mark with the Russian response. For purposes of Medvedev’s reply, the Polish word for a Polish person is Polak (pl. Polacy). “Polack” is an American term/spelling, as far as I can tell—probably favored by Neocons.
Dmitry Medvedev @MedvedevRussiaE
The Polish counterpart of a weird outlandish creature called Blinken, with a much more sonorous surname Sikorski, apparently, has decided to scare his own masters.
He has stated: “The Americans have told the Russians that if you explode a nuke, even if it doesn’t kill anybody, we will hit all your targets [positions] in Ukraine with conventional weapons, we’ll destroy all of them.”
First, the Yankees so far haven’t said anything exactly like that because they are more cautious than the Polacks.
Second, Americans hitting our targets means starting a world war, and a Foreign Minister, even of a country like Poland should understand that.
And third, considering that yet another Polack, Duda, has recently announced the wish to deploy TNW [theatre nuclear weapons] in Poland, Warsaw won’t be left out, and will surely get its share of radioactive ash. Is it what you really want?
The Polish are resentful; have been like that for over 400 years…

Some took offense at Medvedev’s language:
Half-Polish Russophile here!
Mr. Medvedev, I understand your anger and wrote about Sikorski’s reckless words shortly before your post. But you risk discrediting Russia’s anti-bigotry cause in Ukraine by using slurs such as “Polack”. Please don’t do it again

The US Is Playing A Dangerous Game Of Nuclear Chicken With Russia
OTOH, the Poles have probably earned that degree of disrespect with their own rhetoric. OTOH, wars have started from this type of behavior. Further, the idea of NATO/America all Russian targets east of the Dnieper sounds wildly impractical from a strictly military standpoint.
These maniacs still think the Russians are bluffing, or even worse, that they could win a nuclear war against them. Where are all those lefty Euro anti-war protesters from the 1980s?
Radosław Sikorski is married to Anne Applebaum who might well be Victoria Nuland's doppelgänger.
