Emerging Consensus On The Blinken Hoax?

Yesterday I wrote that the real question regarding Deep State Mike Morrell’s testimony that throws Little Tony Blinken under the bus—blames him for the patent hoax claim that the Hunter laptop is a Russian disinformation op—is whether Morrell spilled the beans with Deep State blessing. The letter that Morrell orchestrated was an obvious hoax. The only question was who perpetrated the hoax—was it independent action by the Deep State, or … what? Morrell confirms that it was Deep State action at the direct behest of the Zhou campaign, through Blinken.

And so the question is, Why now? There was no reason for Morrell to blab to the GOP House—he could’ve said that he forgets who prompted him, that it was just a spontaneous groupthink idea of 51 ex-intel people, anything like that. Instead he answered very directly. That’s not how the Deep State operates, not how Dems operate. Morrell would not be doing this on his own, say, because Zhou didn’t put him at the head of the CIA. He was instructed to conduct this as a political hit, or part of a political hit campaign.

What’s behind this? Specifically, why has the Deep State been unable to make these revelations of gross Zhou family corruption—perhaps the most in US history—stick?

Here’s a theory. I would posit an internal struggle within the Left, prompted by the realization that the Zhou team is leading the US into a national security and foreign policy disaster of catastrophic proportions. The intel pros realize that Zhou and his inner FP circle—Nuland, Sullivan, Blinken—are an existential threat to the American Empire, and so they’re the ones prompting the drip, drip, drip of leaks. They need this march into oblivion to stop ASAP. Most of them couldn’t care less about the Woke part of the Zhou agenda. They care about their Class continuing to control a worldwide Empire, and for that to continue the Empire has to continue to exist.

What’s preventing the Deep State faction from gaining the traction they need in the MSM—so far—is the Woke faction, which includes most of the MSM. The Woke faction believes that the Aberro-sexual agenda takes precedence over all else, including national security and the continuation of the King Dollar regime. This is the hard core political Left that populates the MSM and legislative/executive/local government positions. They’re super well funded but know that their agenda will fall if Zhou falls, so they support him at all costs, hoping against hope that what they put in place will not be able to be rolled back.

As it turns out, at least some commentators are thinking along similar lines—at least as far as asking, Who gave Morrell the green light. Here’s a sampling:

And now we have in 2020 the same Russia Gate playbook, now you have the Hunter Biden laptop showing corruption by Hunter Biden, and what does the Biden campaign do? Ask their intelligence community friends to put out a fake claim that Russia is behind all of this."

When Blinken called Morell to express concerns about the Hunter Biden laptop story, did Blinken explicitly need to tell Morell to cook up the letter? Of course not. Morell is a longtime intelligence operative. He knows what to do without being told. When Morell then rounded up 50 signatures for the letter, did he explicitly need to remind those former security state operatives that their continued access and career opportunities depended on staying in the good graces of a future Biden administration? Of course not. They know that without being told. When the letter was then fed to the media, did the NYT and WashPost reporters explicitly need to be told to emphasize the parts claiming “Russian disinformation” and downplaying the CYA language where the signatories admit they have no evidence? Of course not. The media knows what to do without being told. This is how the game is played. All it took was a phone call from Blinken.
