MAJOR UPDATES: Email Reveals Joe Biden Would Get Cut Of China Deal
The NYPost's latest email revelation regarding the Biden Crime Family makes it explicit that "the Big Guy" had a 10% share in a prospective deal with a shady Chinese energy company CEFC. The Biden involved company was later named Sinohawk and its CEO, Tony Bobulinski, has confirmed the authenticity of the email. Actually, he's gone a lot further than that. While the email itself doesn't make explicity whether the deal actually was consummated, a statement by Bobulinski seems to indicate that it was, while also indicating his perception of the motives behind CEFC's activities:
I realized the Chinese were not really focused on a healthy financial [return on investment]. They were looking at this as a political or influence investment. Once I realized that Hunter wanted to use the company as his personal piggy bank by just taking money out of it as soon as it came from the Chinese, I took steps to prevent that from happening.
The Johnson Report connected some dots in a way that shocked me — it made me realize the Bidens had gone behind my back and gotten paid millions of dollars by the Chinese, even though they told me they hadn’t and wouldn’t do that to their partners.
You can read all the details (including Bobulinski's full statement) in a more readable format (than the NYPost) at Red State:
The Red State author, Shipwreckedcrew, spells out the implications of this. My version: It's not that the deal was per se illegal, but that (as Bobulinski says) there is a very strong appearance that the Bidens--including Joe--were trading on the Chinese expectation of future political influence. If this weren't the case, Biden wouldn't be denying involvement in his son's dealings with foreign governments. These denials are now a clear campaign issue as regards Biden's fitness to hold office--and especially because these false denials appear to open him up to blackmail:
The first thing to notice [about the email] is the date, May 2017, after Joe Biden was out of office. But what was the Chinese partner paying for if not whatever influence Joe Biden might have?
If Joe Biden had stayed in retirement, this deal would have been between him and the IRS. But he’s in an election for President in two weeks, he’s denied he had any involvement with any of Hunter Biden’s business activities, and he’s not inappropriately connected to any foreign enterprise.
...
The very immediate implication of this statement is how will Facebook and Twitter respond? They can no longer block the publication of these documents on their platforms on the basis that they are possibly inauthentic and part of an influence effort by a hostile foreign government.
The truth about Biden is exactly as some have always said — he and his family took advantage of his political position to enrich themselves by any means necessary with interests hostile to the United States.
Tony Bobulinski now comes forward and says in stark terms that “Yes, Joe Biden has been taking money from the Chinese Communist government.”
Where will the Democrats be tomorrow as a party? Is the acquisition of power so all-consuming to them that they are ok with this?
Finally, here is a copy of relevant portions of the email:
Besides Hunter, there are only 3 people on the email chain (if the @nypost showed all the recipients).
If all recipients were shown, and @FoxNews has confirmed the veracity of THIS email chain, doesn’t that mean Fox News’ source is James Gilliar, Tony Bobulinski, or Rob Walker? https://t.co/wypgu0uQaPpic.twitter.com/MY458UnyTy

UPDATE 1: Fox News has obtained an email relevant to the CEFC/Biden deal. The email lists "domestic contacts"--all prominent Dem politicians, including Kamala Harris:
Harris, prominent Democrats listed as 'key contacts' for Biden family business venture projects
Email is unrelated to the laptop or hard drive purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden
EXCLUSIVE : A list of “key domestic contacts” for a joint venture involving Jim and Hunter Biden and now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co. included former Vice President Joe Biden 's current running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, among other prominent Democrats, Fox News has learned.
An email exclusively obtained by Fox News, with the subject line “Phase one domestic contacts/ projects” and dated May 15, 2017, Biden’s brother, Jim Biden, shared a list of “key domestic contacts for phase one target projects.”
The email is unrelated to the laptop or hard drive purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden, the former vice president's son.
The list, included Harris, D-Calif.; Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.; Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.; New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo; New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio; former Virginia Gov. Terry McCauliffe, among others.
It is unclear if any of the Democrats were ever contacted about the “target projects.”
It's also unclear whether any of this may be under investigation.

UPDATE 2: A glance at the list of Dem politicos gives one the impression that the Chinese may have believed that they were investing in the future of the Dem party, not just for immediate benefit.
