Here I’ll just present some tweets that provide food for thought in the wake of yesterday’s news about ueber Dem lawyer, Michael Sussmann, being indicted.
First, this is a nice tweet by Stephen MacIntyre from all the way back in 2018. It simply illustrates that Clinton oppo research was on their Trump game early with mucho resources, yet all they could come up with was illegally ginned up hoaxes:

Hans Mahncke expands on the overall lay of the Clinton oppo research land. John Solomon claims that there will be further FBI indictments, but Mahncke and others are claiming Durham is limited to private actors. I’m not sure I agree with Mahncke’s reasoning. Yes, the Deep State protects its own, but on the other hand these private actors are key support for the Deep State because they’re the ones charged with ensuring that the “right” political masters get elected—obviously 2016 was a major fail and crisis. My point is, doesn’t the Deep State need to protect the private actors, too? After all, they offer key support and they also provide key personnel for the Deep State—Jake Sullivan goes from life briefcase carrier for Hillary to NSA for Zhou. You need to protect the process, right? And the process requires private actors and the public/private revolving door as well as career bureaucrats.

Mahncke again—we’ll just have to see:

Right. I’ve been sitting at my keyboard feeling sorry for Sussmann, too. NOT!

I think Hickamania is on to the truth here, as reflected in Sussmann’s Congressional testimony (quoted by Durham for a reason, not just random) in which he said that the reality of his relationship with his “client” was that he would sit down and discuss things with “the client” and they’d come to a mutual agreement on a plan or course of action—i.e., not just “another schmuck doing Hil’s dirty work”:

Mahncke returns to his main point. However, again, I wonder how protected FBI personnel are. No predictions, I’m not insisting—just trying to keep hope alive. Mahncke makes a strong case that at least some people will be off limits:

Pure speculation: The emergence of this indictment with such clear connections to Hillary might give pause to witchhunters who want Trump’s scalp by hook or by crook. If they want their own former presidential candidates immune from prosecution, they may want to tread carefully re Trump. Speaker Nan?
I take very seriously the statements of Donald J. Trump. In his 'most important speech' of December 5 he stated that his most important accomplishment would be restoring election integrity. More recently he stated "We got 'em. We got 'em all. " Everybody is impatient. Not me. "Let your plans be dark as the night, and when you strike, strike like lightning." (Sun Tzu) Lately the sources of information on the Internet I rely on have been silent. The Arizona recount is strangely delayed. Durham is coming to life. When Trump stated that this fraud could not go on or the Country would be permanently damaged, I assumed we had another year possibly. Afghanistan, the Durham statute of limitations and the radical moves designed to assure a permanent takeover of our government dictate otherwise. Clinesmith and other small potatoes have been neglected purposely. This current scandal will reach to the highest levels of government, and most government institutions as well as the media will be forced to join the Trump bandwagon or they will not survive.

I, too, sense there may well be a connection between the Alfa Bank hoaxters and Guccifer 2.0 It all fits together into a larger scheme too well to be random, independent efforts, or so it seems to me.
