I gleaned these tweets from an article at Zerohedge. It seems clear that Johnson is getting directions and following them, irrespective of the views of his party and their voters:
Johnson channels regime talking points, even paraphrasing Zhou’s favorite line—’We’re the United States of America for God’s sake—the most powerful nation in the history of the world!’ Who promised Johnson what? What’s it worth to lie like Johnson’s doing?
Speaker Mike Johnson: "We're going to stand for freedom and make sure that Putin doesn't march through Europe... we're the greatest Nation on the planet, and we have to act like it"

He’s a stupid, gullible, dishonest person whose incompetence is eclipsed only by his cowardice. Imagine being alive and sentient and witnessing the last 10 years of Deep State skullduggery and then allowing yourself to be manipulated by the most corrupt intelligence apparatus on earth. … https://t.co/h0DIvuNstb

The Ukraine aid would be provided as a loan, but with provisions allowing for the loan to be canceled.
A fourth bill would allow the use of seized Russian assets for aid, and sanctions for Russia, China and Iran. It also includes the language of a House-passed bill requiring TikTok to divest from China, a proposal that stalled in the Senate.
The provision regarding seized Russian assets has the potential to destroy the USD as a reserve currency.
A fifth, separate bill includes core components of the House GOP’s Secure the Border Act. -Washington Times.

GOP Gives up on Johnson: @RepThomasMassie says Mike Johnson has betrayed the Republican conference on 2 big occasions and he is about to do it a third time. Massie has called on Johnson to resign as John Boehner did and allow the GOP to elect a new speaker. #TheGreatAmericaShow pic.twitter.com/Xz2RY2kJAG

Interestingly—or not—Sundance earlier in the week hinted darkly that Massie is corrupt and may be sexually compromised. Or something. Whatever it is—or isn’t—he claims that MTG, Massie, and anyone else who objects to Johnson’s bulldozing of the GOP hand in glove with the Dems are part of the master plan to keep Trump out of the Oval Office.
The origin of MTG’s dark motives and her individual compromise originates in the timeline of her marital breakup, sexual exploits with former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and eventually divorce. MTG, Lauren Boebert and Sean Hannity all have this origination timeline in common. I’m not sure what originates the Deep State compromise with Massie yet, when that initial touch took place, but I do know it goes back much further in the timeline of his congressional tenure.
Thomas Massie now joins with MTG in calling for the removal of Speaker Mike Johnson.
Let there be absolutely no doubt, removing Johnson right now is giving the speaker gavel to Democrats. This Machiavellian way to remove Donald Trump has always appeared to be the Deep State insurance policy.
So, in other words, you and I might think that Johnson—the nominal GOP Speaker—colluding with Jake Sullivan and House Dems to commit US money to Ukraine for the sole purpose of pushing Ukraine’s collapse past the November elections lest that collapse harm Zhou’s reinstallation chances is working against Trump. Sundance thinks the people who oppose that are the problem. Weird, huh? Please don’t ask me what Trump’s game is.

The U.S. House is now officially in an alternate universe where the Speaker shares procedural power with Democrats.
It’s unfortunate our Speaker has chosen this route. Just to maintain control of the floor, he will need to rely on dozens of democrats tomorrow.

The Rules Committee just voted for the Rule to bring the $100 billion foreign aid supplemental (plus REPO Act, TikTok ban, etc) to the floor without anything for the U.S. Border.
4 democrats and 5 republicans voted yes.
3 republicans (Roy, Norman, Massie) voted no.

Sen. Rand Paul has directed a stern warning at former President Trump, cautioning that his continued backing of Speaker Johnson could alienate a significant portion of his base.
“If Trump supports this monstrous, unpaid for foreign aid debt buster, he will lose the very supporters who comprise his vanguard. Mark my words,” Sen. Rand Paul warned.
It's a struggle to stay sane in a world full of lunatics, isn't it? I suppose the best explanation for all this is that the Deep State has thrown out all the rules and burnt its bridges. It's using every dirty trick it can to hold on to its power. Johnson is just another "devout Christian" who is neither, Sundance has lost the plot (his blog is like a cult these days) and Trump doesn't have the brains or humility to listen to what his millions of supporters are telling him.
