Briefly: Spy News From Cyprus

I picked this up on Luongo’s thread. Ask yourself—why would a Cypriot president choose this particular time—3 days before an election to replace the supposed current POTUS—to be the first Cypriot president since 1996 to visit the White House? My initial reaction is that if the US really wanted Gal Luft extradited the US ambassador could handle that matter and could communicate US concerns and interests. No need for this meeting. OTOH, if the concern was to short circuit the extradition, maybe. Then again, maybe this is unrelated—difficult as that seems to accept—and has to do with Cypriot cooperation in the Anglo-Zionist war on the Middle East.

The meeting between the President and the American President, scheduled for 5:30 PM Cyprus time at the White House, began with a delay.

Attending the meeting on the Cypriot side were Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos, Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letympiotis, Deputy Minister of European Affairs Marilena Rauna, Cypriot Ambassador Evangelos Savvas, and the Director of the Cyprus Diplomatic Office.

President Biden noted that the U.S. stands with Ukraine against the Russian invasion and recalled his visit to Cyprus ten years ago as Vice President. He emphasized that a strong strategic partnership has been established between the two countries, highlighting Cyprus as a reliable partner for the U.S. at the regional level.

"There is a strong interest in restarting dialogue on the Cyprus issue," he said, thanking the American President for emphasizing the need to adhere to forms of resolution, especially at a time when Turkey has introduced new forms, namely the two-state solution.

He welcomed the American President's support for returning to negotiations aimed at achieving a solution based on the principles of democracy and respect for human rights that both countries advocate.

President Biden stated:

 "I am optimistic about Cyprus reunifying based on a solution that envisions a bi-zonal, bi-communal federation."

 "The U.S. is ready to assist."

What a coincidence that it is occurring one day before the extradition hearing in Cyprus of the missing witness-turned fugitive of the Biden impeachment inquiry, Gal Luft, former IDF officer who skipped bail and was re-arrested last month. A member of Luft’s team told me they believe Biden is trying to influence the Cypriot court’s decision tomorrow.

From Wikipedia we get a bit more detail in a murky situation. Of course, if Luft’s account is truthful all becomes clear and fits perfectly with past Biden crime family acitivity:

Gal Luft (born May 26, 1966) is an Israeli-American think-tank director, author and alleged foreign agent. Luft was a lieutenant colonel in the Israel Defense Forces, and is the executive director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security and cofounder of the Set America Free Coalition.^[1][2]

Luft was arrested in Cyprus on February 17, 2023, on a warrant issued by Interpol on U.S. charges of weapons trafficking. After being released on bail, he went missing on March 28; he subsequently fled and went into hiding.^[3][4][5][6] On July 10, 2023, the US Justice Department unsealed the indictment for this arrest, dated November 2022, accusing Luft of eight charges including acting as an unregistered foreign agent of Chinese entities under the US Foreign Agents Registration Act and violating trade sanctions against Iran.^[7][8] Among the indictment's allegations is that Luft, at the behest of Chinese entities, recruited and paid an unnamed adviser to then-president-elect Donald Trump to adopt pro-Chinese positions.^[9][10][11]

In July 2023, Luft claimed he had made allegations of corruption by US president Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden to the FBI and US Justice Department. These allegations were made in March 2019 involving improper financial arrangements with the Chinese energy company CEFC. He further claimed the criminal charges against him were politically motivated reprisals for his allegations.^[12][13] In September 2024, federal prosecutors stated that Luft was re-arrested and will be extradited to the United States.
