If you guessed “weather balloon” you just may be on to something. I thought this tweet was rather clever:

OOPS! The Financial Times accidentally confirmed what the Chinese have been saying from day one -- the balloons ARE weather balloons
Meanwhile, no UFO sightings over the Great Lakes—at least not today. Now, if we can avoid train derailments and catastrophic chemical spills we can get back to figuring out what our rulers are up to. Really up to.
BREAKING: CBS News has learned that U.S. intelligence watched the Chinese spy balloon as it lifted off near China's south coast, meaning the U.S. military had been tracking it for nearly a week before it entered U.S. airspace. pic.twitter.com/oaR5yZIRwm

This amusing consideration tweeted herein does reflect poorly, all the more, on Biden et al shooting down the Chinese balloon after it's run across the country. Spy or otherwise, it was kinda late and it seems since then all the 'activity' is to try to convince the public of how good a job our 'leadership' is doing to protect us. I'd call it gaslighting but the Greens don't want us using gas for anything at all anymore. - :^) - (WRH)
