Commenter NCMom has said she’d like to see more items here showing Americans fighting back and winning. Today’s news features multiple references to growing awareness of and pushback against the predatory sexual crusade against our children. As a personal note, within my extended family I’ve offended some people over the years—going back quite a few years—with my repeated contention that “they want the kids, they’re coming for the kids.” Well …
Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy in Blinken lecturing the Indians about “human rights abuses”, when the rules based order of the US and its vassal states includes the code words “gender equity”. If you don’t think those code words include the sexual targeting of children, which is a human rights abuse that cries to heaven for punishment, then I’m here to tell you differently. In fact I’d go so far as to say that much of the aberro-sexual movement in general is a cover for targeting the kids. We’re seeing the results of years of “tolerance and diversity” in government schools across the land being transformed into indoctrination and grooming camps.
But there may be some good news. People are speaking out, they’re voting, they’re beginning to recognize the source and the extent of these abuses. Examples:
Don Surber:
ITEM 20: Rolling Stone reported, "David Mamet Comes Out as Right-Wing Culture Warrior, Claims Teachers Are Inclined to Pedophilia."
What he said to trigger Jann Wenner: "We have to take back control. There’s no community control of the schools. What we have is kids not only being indoctrinated but groomed, in a very real sense, by people who are, whether they know it or not, sexual predators. Are they abusing the kids physically? No, I don’t think so. But they are abusing them mentally and using sex to do so. This has always been the problem with education. Teachers are inclined, particularly men because men are predators, to pedophilia."
Don't say gay.
Or straight.
Or anything about sex because we should let kids be kids.
In support of Mamet’s thesis:
Grooming in schools begins with ‘personal disclosure’ of teacher’s sexual preferences: professor
‘Red flag grooming behaviors’ include ‘personal disclosure of adult sexual activity and preferences, and questions to students about their sexual lives,’ warns a study by the nation’s top expert on school sex abuse.
For example:
‘I guess I was a little too vocal about supporting our LGBTQIA+ kids.’
The Federalist has some good news for us:
Americans Are Turned Off By Disney’s Groomer Crusade, According To New Poll
The Trafalgar Group found in its National Issues Survey on Disney, which was sponsored by the Convention of States Action, that more than 68 percent of Americans are less likely to do business with the entertainment conglomerate after video footage leaked of Disney executives bragging about targeting the minds of its young consumers with sexual content. More than 69 percent said they were likely to support “family-friendly alternatives.”
Question: What’s up with the other 32% of Americans?
Happily, after winning the election Glenn Youngkin continues to show Republicans the way. Is anyone else paying attention? Ron DeSantis is. We need more, but the encouraging thing is that these are largely political responses to grass roots pressure—which is what David Mamet wants more of. Youngkin’s initiative appears crafted to provide meaningful leverage to parents as well as the notification that could lead to further parent led action:
Glenn Youngkin Signs Bill Requiring Parents’ Notification of Sexually Explicit Curriculum
On Friday, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin (R-Va.) signed a bill into law that requires all school districts to notify the parents of students if any sexually explicit material is to be taught in the classroom.
The Daily Caller reports that the bill was authored by State Senator Siobhan Dunnavant (R-Va.), which gives the state’s Department of Education the authority to develop and enforce the policy. All local school boards in the state must enact the policy by January 1st, 2023.
Under the new law, parents will be allowed to “review instructional materials that includes sexually explicit content,” and may be allowed to instead show “non-explicit instructional material” to their children as an alternative if they decline.
This is all a start. It needs to go further, of course. But you have to start somewhere. A good starting point is to get outside the American reflexive libertarian mindset, which tends to intellectually paralyze people in the face of these abuses. And to give credit where it’s due, Trump did get the ball rolling just by the tone of his discourse.
Will Republicans finally wake up to a campaign issue that could lead to permanent switches in voter preferences? Parents who switch on this issue aren’t likely to switch back to the crazies.
