I’ll be taking more mental health time this morning, and then my wife will be doing physical therapy in the afternoon. My wife’s second knee replacement has worked out just fine, however, she does have continuing back problems. My wife had polio as a very young child and it turns out that an after effect was scoliosis, which also led to some spinal stenosis. There’s supposed to be a new form of therapy that may provide relief, which my wife started just last week. I go along for the ride.
In the meantime, I received an email yesterday Sara Cook and Major Garrett at CBS News. Here’s the gist of the email:
… we will be premiering our 8-episode podcast series on September 28th! New episodes will be published each Thursday for 8 weeks on all podcast platforms.
The show will be called, "Agent of Betrayal: The Double Life of Robert Hanssen"
The trailer will be out on September 21st; I will send a link to our podcast feed once the trailer is live later this week.
The project was also written up in the Hollywood Reporter: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/digital/cbs-news-major-garrett-robert-hanssen-podcast-1235529634/
I was interviewed for the series—one of 50 people, apparently, who were interviewed. I never watch or listen to these media things that I’ve participated in, but if readers are interested it will be out there.
I hope the therapy really helps your wife, Mark, and that you have a good rest too!
Having had a right knee replacement three years ago, and dreading the inexorable need for the left one soon, I am your chief empathist here. Your moral support means a lot to your bride.
