Iraq 1991 was all about seizing post-Soviet strategic dominance (and permanent bases) in the Gulf region; securing the petrodollar system, and greatly weakening the no-longer-useful Iraqi army the empire supported to fight against Iran.

I was a chump who once supported both Iraq wars. Our government has been lying to us for a long, long time. Longer than I ever realized or was willing to accept. It turns out that nothing is as it is told to us. The past six years have been if nothing else, quite eye opening. It has been a very disorienting experience to see the truth behind the lies be revealed. But now I can never unsee what I’ve seen unfold. Wow.
Scott Adams still doesn’t get it. I take issue with his suggestion that we “anti-vaxxers” were merely distrustful of the government. For many of us, including me, trust in the government / health authorities was the default until 2020-2021. This default position was overcome by REASONING regarding the nature of Covid and the appearance of these new “vaccines.” He just can’t bring himself to concede that he was duped / didn’t think critically about what was going on.
