I can’t think there’s any other way to put this. Why else would the GOP agree to host a war criminal from Israel, except to raise money from American supporters of genocide?
Netanyahu to speak to Senate Republicans after Schumer's calls to hold new Israeli election
Senate Republican Conference Chair John Barrasso invited Netanyahu to speak.
To be clear, Schumer’s speech was simply an attempt to gaslight those who oppose Israeli genocide—both Jews and non-Jews—while not alienating Zionist donors in the US. As expected, there were no teeth to back up his supposed rebuke of Netanyahu—Schumer’s called for an election only after the genocide is complete.
GOPers apparently have no such compunctions and no notion of attracting Dems who are repulsed by genocide. Their strategy appears to be to try to boost the turnout of their base and those who are concerned about the economy, while attracting Zionist donor money that would probably otherwise have gone to the Dems. My guess is that the ploy will fail or fall far short of their hopes, while sullying the brand.
Speaker Johnson Mulls Inviting Netanyahu To Address Congress After Schumer's Blistering Words
"It’s one of the things that we have in mind, and we may try to arrange for that," Johnson told reporters after the idea was reportedly raised in a meeting with other House lawmakers. "I think it’s very important for us to show solidarity and support for Israel right now in their time of great struggle, and we certainly stand for that position, and we’ll try to advance that in every way that we can," he added.
Johnson further indicated he had a Wednesday morning phone call with Netanyahu. "I had a lengthy conversation this morning with Prime Minister Netanyahu and reiterated to him the House Republicans’ strong support for Israel," he confirmed.
What a spectacle to the rest of the world! The United State of America, for God’s sake—as Zhou likes to say—with the highest levels of each major party vying for blood money by kissing up to a war criminal.

Proposition: who gets elected does not really matter: they are all stuck in the old Globalist paradigm and do not realize that the rest of the world has moved on.
Question: the formal cause of what one does and say is ones audience: is the GOP misreading its audience? Or, is its “audience” not really those that vote?
